Fans of Jason Morgan and Samantha McCall (JaSam) have been waiting years to see their couple finally overcome all of the obstacles they have faced and truly be happy. That happiness was found on September 22/23, 2011.

From the unconventional engagement that had the groom presenting his bride to be with a lug nut for an engagement ring, to the maid of honor losing the same engagement ring at least five times and all the other mishaps that happened, fans wondered if the actual wedding would not only take place, but if the wedding would represent who Jason and Sam really are.

Before the actual wedding so many beautiful, meaningful moments happened for the couple. Edward visited Jason and asked him to honor his marriage to Lila by giving Sam Lila's wedding band and across town Monica was asking Sam to give Jason Alan's band. The moment showed that even though Jason does not consider himself a Quartermaine he will always be a part of the family and both Edward and Monica accept Sam as a part of Jason's life.

Sam became completely overwhelmed, mostly because she is usually waiting for the other shoe to drop when she's happy. Sam has only known true happiness with Jason, but she's seen her world come crashing down on more than one occasion and often as a direct result of her own actions. Sam and Jason know that each other is not perfect and they have forgiven each other and themselves for their past mistakes. Knowing that they fully forgive, trust and love each other has led the couple to finally make a full commitment to each other.

Even when Jason and Sam were apart and supposedly hated each other, they had so much passion in their fighting those rooting for the couple to reunite couldn't deny the chemistry.

When Sam became completely overwhelmed with the wedding preparations, Jason took his bride for a ride on his Harley and the two wound up at a Chinese food restaurant. They got more than dinner, the two tied the knot right then and there, by themselves in a truly romantic ceremony that was well, classic JaSam. The bride and groom both looked at each other with love in their eyes that most people only dream of. I have to admit, it was THE most emotion I have ever seen from Jason Morgan, aka the robot, borg, Jasatron etc... The way he looked at Sam made me wish I could find a man that loved me as unconditionally as Jason loves Sam.

When they woke up the next morning even Sam "sqeed" at the sight of hers and Jason's wedding bands. For once Sam and Jason put themselves first before anyone else and basked in the afterglow of being husband and wife, keeping everyone waiting at the church for the "wedding." There was only one person that was smiling when Jason announced a wedding would not be taking place at St. Timothy's - Carly. Even though she had gone to Sam the day before expressing that she finally understood what Sam truly meant to Jason, she looked as though she wanted to throw a party before hearing that her best friend had already married the woman of his dreams. Even Carly had to congratulate Jason during the reception.

It's funny non-Jason fans said they could no longer eat Chinese food after finding out the couple had been married at a Chinese food restaurant and JaSam fans ate Chinese food in their honor the day the couple took their vows.

If you're not a fan I'm not expecting you to see the romance behind the wedding and if you're not a fan I would never tell you that you're wrong or you obviously can't see chemistry. Viewers see what they want to see and like what they want to like. But for all the JaSam fans out there - raise a glass and chopsticks in honor of your couple.

The only question that remains now - will JaSam have the opportunity to live happily ever after? Because let's face it - in the world of soaps no couple is guaranteed absolute happiness - just ask the Sonny and Brenda fans, or the Liz and Lucky fans, or the Liz and Jason fans or the Robin and Stone fans or Robert and Holly - the list goes on and on. But for right now, Jason, Sam and their fans are going to bask in the glory of the wedding that wasn't and the marriage that is.

What if .....

No one knows exactly how long General Hospital will stay on the air. Will the daytime soap last one more year, five, ten, longer? No one knows not even the writers or actors themselves.

But if GH were to end in six months or a year - how would it end? I don't know for sure, but I have some ideas and thoughts on what I'd like to see and/or what I think will happen.

Let's start with the man, the myth, the legend- mob Kingpin, Michael "Sonny" Corinthos. Will Sonny die at the hands of a rival mob family or ride off into the sunset with one of his many lady loves? What I want to see happen is for Sonny to fake his own death again (remember he did it when Alcazar first came to town) and end up on one of his private islands with his one true love - Brenda Barrett Corinthos, her son Alec and their daughter Stella. I also think most if not all of that will actually come true. Both Maurice Benard and Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo have stated they would do everything in their power to make S&B be together in the end.

This week Jason Morgan and Samantha McCall are getting married. The popular couple, JaSam, often rivals one of Jason's past pairings, Liason.

The fan base wars between both are completely ridiculous considering they are fictional characters on a show, but I digress.

With the upcoming nuptials, JaSam are heading in the direction that many fans expect them to head. The couple has been together for seven years minus the Summer of Sleaze when several characters and couples were destroyed in an agenda driven plot by former head writer Bob Guza.

But if GH were to end in six months to a year would Jason and Sam still be married? I believe they will and I believe they will have a child of their own, something they have both wanted for a very long time but were always afraid to admit it.

Speaking of Liason, where does that leave Liz? To the Liason fans out there, the reason I believe Liz and Jason will not end up together is not because I favor Jasam or not, it's because Liz herself told Jason she never really knew him and Jason in turn told her that he was not what she needed.

They both realize that a relationship between them could never work because in reality, they just don't fit into each other's lives.

But what does happen to Liz. Liz has told Robin and several other people that she is in fact still in love with former husband and fiance Lucky Spencer, but she has a budding friendship with Matt Hunter forming. What I would love to see happen is for Liz and Matt to form a true bond beyond friendship and allow Liz to be in a relationship where she is treated like an equal not someone that needs rescuing all the time.

Not too mention, I'm tired of the self-destructive relationship between LL2, unfortunately what I hope will happen won't because for some reason I believe TPTB are going to reunite LL2 for the millionth time.

Carly Benson Corinthos Jax is a whole other story. The woman is a walking contradiction. Everything she says is the complete opposite of what she does.

She claims to hate Sonny because he "murdered" Jax, yet she knows that Jax is a live and well and ironically, even though she didn't approve of Sonny's methods, she was in fact the one that unleashed Sonny on Jax. She went to Sonny crying that Jax was suing her for custody of their daughter, but then she called Sonny out on his actions. Umm, the woman was married to Sonny four times what exactly did she think was going to happen?

Carly will either end up with Jax in the end or alone and personally after all the crap she's pulled, I'm hoping for the latter. Carly barks at every woman in Jason's life because he's her best friend. She knows no boundaries when it comes to Jason and she does the same thing to Sonny - even when she claims to hate him she still thinks she's the only one that's able to live with him and tolerate his actions even though all of a sudden she claims Jax was the best thing to happen to her.

Then we have the Davis girls, will Alexis finally find a man to make her trust in love again? Will Kristina truly win over her hearts desire- Ethan? And will Molly ever see her father again? I'm sorta hoping that if GH were to end in six months or a year that TPTB would some how, some way get Wally Kurth to reprise his role of Ned and finally reunite him with Alexis. Call me sentimental but I loved classic Ned and Alexis more than I loved classic Ned and Lois.

I would love more than anything for Krissy to form a real relationship with her father, Sonny, first before she winds up in a relationship with Ethan or any other boy. Maybe if she mends her relationship with Sonny she won't feel that she needs to be a doormat for every guy she's interested in. And poor Molly, she really doesn't even know her father, why can't Ric come back to town? Maybe he can come back a changed man and sweep his ex-wife, Elizabeth off her feet. Ooo, yeah I would love me some LiRic.

There are many more characters and families that would be impacted at the end of GH, like the Quartermaines, Scorpio-Drakes, Luke and Tracy, Lante, SpiXie and so much more. Will the Qs all be killed off? Will Luke and Tracy remain married or would Luke reunite with the other half of daytime's first super couple- Laura? Will Robin and Patrick stay married? Would Robin die of her HIV status? Will Dante and Lulu stay together and end up married or will Lulu reunite with her first true love - Johnny? Will the Zaccara's get killed off by Sonny's men or if Sonny were to fake his death would the Zs then control mob activity in PC? Would Maxie actually marry her non-husband Spinelli or would she fight for her current boyfriend Matt? Could Maxie actually realize she still loves Lucky and once again make a play for him?

What do you think? How would you like to see General Hospital end? What do you see playing out for the characters and couples?

Why not Megan Ward?

Disclosure: I do not like the NuKate so be forewarned this blog is going to be brutally honest.

Ok, so I get that bringing back Kate Howard is supposed to be part of the story arc to bring Sonny back from the brink of insanity, but I'm sorry Kelly Sullivan is not the right person to be playing the role.

From the first scene of her barking on her phone in the elevator, I knew I would not like this recast. She not only over acts constantly, but her facial expressions are just horrid. TPTB really made a mistake when they hired a woman at least 10-years younger than the original actress. They put make-up on her that makes her look all pasty, not older and she does not pull off fashion ice queen the way Megan does.

I said today that this NuKate makes me want to gauge my own eyes out and shove something sharp into my ears. Her voice, her facial expressions and her over acting really does not make me want to watch her and considering Sonny is my all-time favorite male lead it's going to be like fingernails on a chalkboard watching this story arc play out.

I'm glad Sonny is going to have someone in his corner finally, but I'm sick of the writers rewriting Sonny's history to suit their needs. Brenda is not and was not a fantasy; Sonny has loved her for most of his life and no woman will ever compare to her in Sonny's eyes.

I wouldn't care if it was Megan in the role, the things Olivia said today about Connie being the only one to talk Sonny down is a complete slap in the face to S&B's history and story. Where were the Falconeris when Sonny was talking about Bensonherst with Lois? Do TPTB really think viewers of GH will simply disregard history because they want something new to happen?

But, I digress, back to the topic. Why did they recast Kate? Was Megan even asked to reprise the role? Why didn't Megan come back? The NuKate is just as horrible as Jennifer Bransford's version of Carly. She just does not do the part justice. People keep saying they're going to give her time, but com'on how long did JB last as Carly? I'm hoping Kelly doesn't last as long as Kate and Megan is brought back. No offense to Kelly, I'm sure she's a sweet person and all, but seriously she needs to change the way she plays Kate because she's not pulling it off. She's making me want to fast forward through all of her scenes.

I just can't, I just can not get into this woman, she's horrible. I can't give her a week or even another day, I just cringe whenever I see her on my TV screen. I haven't felt this way since Tamara Braun was in the role of Carly, at least JB only lasted a short period, TB tortured me for years.

I just want Megan back, she is the one and only Kate Howard. She made me like her even though she was bitchy and snobby because she is that good. I may be a die hard S&ber, but I would welcome Skate 2.0 if Megan was in the role. Kelly just makes me dread the upcoming story arc. Maybe she'll realize that she's playing the role horridly and start making the character her own, if not I'm screwed because I won't be able to enjoy Sonny.

Lulu: Can she find herself?

What has happened to Luke and Laura's daughter? She certainly does not have any resemblance of her mother.

Laura would never defend Luke's role in what happened to Jake. Laura would never simply forgive Elizabeth for pitting her two sons against each other, regardless of who blamed who.

Laura would never ask Lucky or anyone else to compromise upholding the law to make Lulu feel better by divulging information pertaining to a case. Laura would have faith in her son, Lucky, and support him rather than berating him for accepting a challenging case.

Laura would never have lied to Lucky about the real paternity of Jake and act as a go between for Elizabeth and Jason the way Lulu did.

Watching Lulu list the reasons (actually lies) that has her breaking up with Dante simply reinforced why I hate/despise/loathe her so much. While I don't think Dante is completely innocent in some of the lies; Lulu HAS to respect his position as a cop if she has any respect for him at all. Where does Lulu get her holier than thou attitude anyway? Oh, that's right from her "other" role model Carly. Lulu lied and schemed to break-up GQ. She allowed Johnny to cover up her role in the death of Scotty Baldwin's son and Lulu's ex-boyfriend Logan.

Lulu even went screaming to Carly the night Michael was shot in the head to protect her then boyfriend Johnny- gee, didn't Carly get raked over the coals for going to Jason the night Jake was killed to ask him for Jake's kidney's for her offspring? Yup, Lulu is the mini-Carly. Then, when Dante tried to do the right thing by getting Michael to confess to Claudia's murder- which he did to protect his mom and new sister, Lulu again ran to Carly to protect Dante when Michael was sent to prison.

Lulu needs to find herself and become her own person before she becomes friendless in PC. I'm surprised even Maxie is still talking to her. Gee, again mini-Carly. The only friend Carly ever truly had was Courtney and that's because she was Sonny's sister. Who is Lulu's one and only true friend??

The war is beyond getting old

The fan base war between SamFF/LizFF/JaSamFF/LiasonFF is really out of control. I don't blame all fans of the fan bases or even one fan base more than the other, but seriously do viewers not realize that all of the characters and couples are fictional? They are not real. They are not your friends, family, boyfriends or girlfriends- they are characters on the fictional soap General Hospital.

Some fans blamed Kelly Monaco and verbally attacked her and her mother when Becky Herbst was fired from GH a few months ago, now those same fans are starting petitions to have Kelly fired so they could have their favorite couple, Liason, reunited. It's appalling, disgusting, disgraceful and honestly I'm pretty sure Becky and Steve Burton would be ashamed to have their fans acting like this. Especially since Kelly and JaSam fans joined in the fight to save Becky from losing her job.

I don't blame fan bases for wanting to have their faves together or in a great story line, front and center, but calling for another actress or character to be fired or killed is just juvenile. And even if said actress or character were to go - it does not mean you will automatically get your favorite back together.

Not every fan base can be happy all the time, but that doesn't mean the actors should be blamed. The last time I checked Kelly, Becky and Steve were paid to play fictional characters, they are NOT writers, producers or directors of the show. They play the parts of Sam, Liz and Jason respectively. Steve can not dictate who Jason's leading lady is, neither can Kelly or Becky.

I'm not a Liz fan or a Liason fan, but I am friends with A LOT of LizFF and LiasonFFs, the sane ones at least and I'm also friends with A LOT of Sam and JaSam haters, but we understand that not everyone is going to like the same couples or characters as we do and we understand that the characters are not real.

People that can not let go of the fact Liason is not together at this point in time really need to have their heads examined. Neither Liason nor JaSam affects the ratings positively or negatively on their own. The show itself has many different characters and couples. Liason and JaSam are not going to cause GH to get canceled or renewed at the end of the contract. It's amazing, but there are other characters and couples that are on the show. GH is not just about Sam/Liz/JaSam/Liason; there's way more going on than just them.

There's S&B versus CarSon; Lante versus JoLu; SpiXie versus M&M oh and let's not forget LL2 verus Liason and LuSh. There are some SamFFs that hate JaSam and some LizFFs that hate Liason. Chemistry is in the eye of the beholder.

But regardless of which couple(s) or character(s) you ship, grow up and realize that the actors/actresses portraying said couples and characters are friends in real life and probably can't believe how childish their fans are. If you don't like the direction of the show, stop watching it; don't petition to have someone lose their jobs.

Those wishing Kelly harm simply because they want Liason back together or wishing Becky harm because they like Sam better than Liz really need to have their head examined and in all honesty need to grow the f* up! Take your hatred and use it to change the world. Use your hatred to protect children from child abuse. Use your hatred to shelter the homeless. Use your hatred to save animals from abuse. Use your hatred for something positive in the world, not on a FICTIONAL SHOW AND/OR CHARACTER(S).

Sonny versus Carly; Toxic or Soul Mates?

Michael "Sonny" Corinthos is one of the most complex characters on General Hospital. His fans love not only the character, but the actor that plays him, Maurice Benard. But to love the character can cause some heartache because on almost a daily basis Sonny is blamed for something in Port Charles.

Sonny is a mob boss that carries the weight of everyone on his own two shoulders. He is not perfect and does not claim to be. He loves the women in his life and all of his children. He is loyal to almost a fault because he will do anything to make sure those he cares about get what they want, but on the same flip of the coin will make sure his enemies get what they deserve as well.

Sonny does not make decisions simply to hurt people, he does what any mob boss would do; protect those he loves, his territory and his organization. Nobody claims that Sonny is perfect, especially himself but is he really to blame for everything that's wrong in PC?

Sonny has never claimed to be anything he is not and never claims to be innocent of his actions - he takes responsibility for the decisions he makes and carries the guilt if anyone he cares about is hurt.

Some claim that Sonny ruined Carly, but I don't see it that way. Carly was damaged before she ever met Sonny. Carly came to Port Charles to get revenge on her birth mother Bobbie by seducing her husband Tony Jones - she succeeded. It was Carly that drugged AJ, it was Carly that shot Tony in court, it was Carly that has tried to stop Sonny from being happy with any other woman than her.

Alexis was right when she told Carly that she had enabled Sonny for years and that Carly was to blame for Sonny's actions against Jax because Carly was the one that unleashed Sonny, full well knowing how much Sonny hates Jax and how Sonny tends to deal with his enemies.

Carly always runs to Jason or Sonny to help her with her problems, but then lashes out at Sonny when he does help her. If Jason had disabled the plane so Jax couldn't take off and Jax still hot wired the same plane and crashed, Carly would be kissing Jason's feet with gratitude for helping her, but because it was Sonny; Carly called him a bastard and slapped him across the face. She then cut Sonny out of her life and demanded her kids and Alexis do the same.

Sonny did not kill Jax or attempt to kill him when he disabled the plane. Sonny was trying to prevent Jax from leaving town with Carly's daughter. Even Dante admitted that what Sonny had done to plane did not cause the crash, but for some reason Carly still blames Sonny for everything.

I used to love Carly when Sarah Joy Brown was in the role. SJB made Carly likable regardless of her misdeeds because that Carly was vulnerable and had low self-esteem. But Tamara Braun and Laura Wright have made Carly into a jealous, vile beast that doesn't give a crap about anyone or anything besides Jason and her hatred for any woman that Jason chooses to be with. I find Sonny to own his own actions, while Carly blames everyone else without a blink of the eye.

I find CarSon extremely toxic to each other and really wish they would both cut their losses and learn to co-exist without causing each other any more damage.

I know CarlyFFs are not going to like my opinions of her, but they are just that my opinions. I do however welcome a healthy debate about both characters.

The Life of Jason Morgan ...

At first I wasn't sure what to expect regarding the dreams about Jason while his surgery was going on. I was hoping for the best, but given recent General Hospital writing I truly was fearing the worst.

I was pleasantly surprised by the way the dreams played out.

Liz and Jason aka Liason, showed how Liz always wanted and expected more out of the relationship with Jason, when he knew it wasn't what he wanted. It wasn't a slam to Liason or their fans, it was a way of showing that no matter what - Jason was not the man Liz was looking for and he told her such when she stated that she never really knew him.

The Carly and Jason dream aka Jarly, honestly didn't mean as much to me with Laura Wright in the role. I still have not sympathy for the screaming vile banshee. I miss Sarah Joy Brown, who to me is the one and only Carly. But, I can definitely see why the writers gave Carly a fantasy. We all know that in her deepest of hearts, Carly would rather be with Jason than any other man on the planet. What I hated about her fantasy was that Sonny was dead. Does she really wish that fate on one of the father's of her children? I've lost all respect for the character and glad that Jason walked away from her in her fantasy and when "real" Jason spoke to her he said that they would always be friends, but she needs to live her life for her - or in so many words. I can only hope that Carly learns from her dream and allows Jason to be happy in his own life and respect his decisions.

The Quartermaine dream was simply outstanding because it was the Qs. I've longed to have the Qs back on my screen, but unfortunately Lila and Emily were missing.

But seeing Jason still not perfect in Monica's dream was icing on the cake. Having him rebel by becoming a cocaine user was pure genius in my book. I especially liked when "real" Jason told "real" Monica she needed to let him be who he is. It was fitting because I think in the long run, Monica is going to accept Jason for Jason and we will start to see more of a family relationship between Jason and the Qs again.

Sam's dream was the best for this fan. Spotlighting JaSam as who they are, in love and still adventurous. But the best part it was when Sam took a picture of Jason and said she wanted to capture him when he found out he was going to be a father! Yup, in Sam's dream they are going to be parents - FINALLY!

It was so cute seeing Jason rub Sam's belly and her taking a picture "First Family Photo."

When "real" Jason showed up, "real" Sam asked him if this was what he really wanted, in which he said, as long as he was with Sam he would be happy. They have the most amazing chemistry.

Another way Sam's dream stood out from the other's was that Sam cared about what Jason wanted and didn't try and change him or their relationship to simply what she wanted. Liz, Carly and Monica all made Jason into a version of what they wanted from him, not who he is. That speaks volumes to this fan.

But even more than the dreams it was the montage that really made this episode one of THE best episodes in recent history. The montage showcased Jason's life in reverse all the way back to the car accident and thankfully it showcased his relationship with Robin Scorpio-Drake. The only fail of the montage was leaving out Emily, Courtney, Sonny and Spinelli - those four characters had a major impact on Jason and who he is today.

If this is only the beginning of what new head writer Garin Wolf has to offer - he has me 100 percent hooked again. I love where the stories are headed and can't wait to see how they all turn out. Thank you Garin for making General Hospital fun again!

For once, the end was better than the means

When Jason and Sam starting discussing whether or not they wanted to have a child together, the discussion seemed to go on and on and on and on, only for both of them to really beat around the bush and not exactly tell each other what they were really feeling.

The same started to happen when JaSam started to discuss whether or not they should get married. For once we saw Jason actually show and tell his lady love that he wanted to spend the rest of his life making sure she knew exactly how much he loves her. Jason was the one trying to convince Sam to put the past behind her and just take the leap of faith in their love for one another. Sam still seemed hesitant because of not only her past marriages which were more cons than marriages, but also of her past with Jason. The gorgeous brunette kept wondering if their past was doomed to repeat itself.

Jason became a man on a mission. Not only did he want to propose to Sam but he needed to make sure it was perfect. He didn't want anything to interfere with his plans for the evening and truly hoped he could sweep Sam off her feet and into his arms.

Sam went to her mother, Alexis, to get some motherly advice and well, her blessings. When Sam told Alexis that Jason was her "best friend and so much more," even Alexis couldn't help get giddy for her eldest daughter and absolutely gave her blessings.

Sam still tried to waiver making up excuses as Jason proposed to her. But, she made one simple mistake she told Jason her mother had given them her blessings and Jason nervously asked if he should call Alexis or Kristina for Sam's answer -it was then, Sam, with a sparkle in her eyes and love in her voice, told the man of her dreams, "YES!"

But, of course, the JaSam proposal couldn't be all love and romance, there had to be some sort of mishap that would make that night even more special and ironically, it was Maxie losing the ring that became a momentous moment for the couple. Jason pulled out a bolt as a replacement ring until he could buy his lady love the proper ring she deserves.

The proposal was everything JaSam fans have been waiting for and for the first time in a long time, the actual proposal was better than the build up, something GH has gotten away from in recent years.

Will the couple actually make it to the alter? Do you want them to? How long before something goes wrong for these star-crossed lovers?

The destruction of S&B ... complete

The final nail in the mystical romance known as Sonny and Brenda has not been hammered home just yet, but for now, their fairy tale love has been put on hiatus.

The goodbye was as heart wrenching as the wire episode all those years ago. Sonny did his best to piss off the love of his life and get her to see that he is not the man she thinks he is. That part of the breakup was the worst because Brenda does know Sonny and the danger of his life is nothing new to her. Sonny teased his bride by telling her he would move to California with her and Alec only to pull the rug right out from under her and telling her the house would be great but the life would be a lie.

Sonny also talked about how the power means too much to him and power, not love, is the one thing he can't live without.

Brenda in turn told Sonny how she had to learn how to be a good mother and that she had warned him that Carly would ruin his life. Carly may not have ruined Sonny's life, but she most certainly did ruin Sonny's marriage to his soulmate.

In fact, Carly and Jasper Jacks got exactly what they wanted - they successfully had a hand in the destruction of Sonny and Brenda. Sonny, just had to rescue Carly again - from herself. And Jax once again had to find away to make Brenda fear for her life and her son's life by putting seeds of doubt in the brunette's mind. Both were successful and Sonny and Brenda broke up over something that really had nothing to do with either one of them.

I guess one saving grace is that Brenda, though she allowed Jax to be her "white knight" to provide her transportation out of Port Charles but she didn't allow him back into her heart and Sonny, though Carly immediately began sniffing around him, made it clear he was not moving on with her, again.

Oh and the other saving grace is, when Brenda returns to Sonny, Robert Guza will not be writing her story for once and we may actually see the REAL Brenda for her entire story arc, not just parts of it.

Both Sonny and Brenda know where their hearts belong and eventually, they will find themselves back together, again riding off into the sunset, growing old together.

From the moment Lucky brought Siobhan to Port Charles with him, Liz has been jealous but has managed to keep her feelings pretty much in check. Liz was busy attacking Brook Lynn for her relationship with Nikolas, showing complete jealousy; but managed to stay even keel in regards to LuSh.

That all changed with the unfortunate accidental death of Liz's middle son, Jake.

Liz, understandably, was distraught over the loss of her child and decided it was time to tell the truth about her latest child's paternity. To be fair, this time Liz didn't outright lie about the paternity, like she had with Cameron and Jake. Helena had changed the test results even though Liz always has suspicions.

Even with learning the truth about Aiden being Lucky's and not Nik's Liz still didn't go all jealous on LuSh, she just felt the men in her life deserved to know the truth.

It was Siobhan that became the jealous one, constantly questioning Liz's motives and then of course the night she ran into the burning Spencer home and landed herself in the hospital and the OR is what caused the jealousy to rear it's ugly green head once again.

Liz, who clearly should not have been in the OR, made a near fatal mistake and basically owned the mistake outright - which was shocking in itself, but Siobhan accused her rival of trying to get rid of her and even said as much to pretty much everyone that would listen to her tirade.

It was Lucky that convinced the Irish redhead to drop the lawsuit against the ever troubled nurse, and shockingly Lucky defended his ex in true fashion despite their rocky past. Liz has admitted a few times that she is still in love with the young detective, but not to either Siobhan or Lucky - until Siobhan confronted her at Aiden's birthday dinner.
Siobhan again accused Liz of wanting Lucky for herself and even went as far to say the nurse's only mistake was letting Siobhan live.

When Liz tried to tell Lucky what had happened and told Lucky he would be better off without his wife, Lucky didn't necessarily agree. He finally defended his wife.

Lucky even said that he and Liz knew where they stood and Liz stated he was the only one that was sure of that. For the first time since Lucky married Siobhan, Liz basically told her ex she was still into him and would welcome a reunion. Unfortunately, Lucky only thanked Liz for dinner and walked away from her.

Liz looked distraught and beaten as she sunk slowly into her couch.

Will Lucky's first love end up winning back his heart during the battle of the two Mrs. Spencers or will the marriage of convenience turned real be what Lucky needs and wants?

One ends with heartache, another begins the next chapter

The destruction of Sonny and Brenda has been completely and utterly heart breaking for this fan of the super couple.

Watching their marriage fall to shambles over Carly and Jax's custody battle was almost too painful to watch.

I screamed at Sonny for allowing Carly's problems to affect his marriage to the one woman he claims he's always loved. He even told Carly that Brenda always has and always will have a piece of his heart from the first day he met her.

Why did Sonny have to frame Jax so Carly could have custody of Josslyn? That wasn't supposed to be Sonny's battle or problem. Carly should have fought on her own merits and not dragged Sonny or Jason into her ugly custody battle.

I can not blame Brenda for thinking Sonny chose Carly over her, because Brenda, though she loves Sonny with all her heart, is not a manipulative shrew that Carly can be at times. Carly showing up at Brenda's room and telling the brunette to go back to Sonny or she would take him for herself was disgusting in itself, it was the first time in a long time that I claimed to hate Carly with all my passion.

Listening to Brenda recount the times Sonny left her standing in the rain and breaking her heart and her decision to be the one to leave this time was unbearable. I remember when Sonny left Brenda at the alter and had Jason go to meet her and take her home, that day was the most painful day for this S&Ber, until the day Brenda told Sonny she was leaving him.

I don't believe this is the end of S&B forever, even Sonny told Carly that he's loved Brenda and lost her so many times, but it never ends. Sonny may have loved Carly at one point and will always be connected to her because of Michael and Morgan, but to Sonny Brenda is the one he has loved always. Brenda is the one that completes him in a way no other woman has. Unfortunately for Carly, Sonny and Jason are her world, but both Sonny and Jason have other women they love more than her - Brenda and Sam.

Speaking of Jason and Sam. The day that all JaSam fans have been waiting for is finally upon us.

What has been building for years is finally going to happen- Jason is proposing to his lady love.

Yes, before the Summer of Sleaze, JaSam were engaged, and were truly in love, but the destruction of the couple shattered almost as many, if not more hearts than the current destruction of S&B.

The scenes leading up to the actual proposal have been as hilarious and sweet as I'm sure the proposal itself will be. From Jason basically teasing Sam about his plans to the kiss that sent Sam stumbling into the door and Maxie flinging the ring off the balcony, this story is truly made of WIN!

Then there was Sam going to talk to Alexis for some motherly advice, again all full of win!

Jason telling Sam that it may be a ride he wants to take Sam on, and Sam asking Jason if she should dress tactical or trendy and his response being, "What ever makes you feel more beautiful, not that you need help with that." is pure JaSam.

They accept each other for who they are. They thrive on the adventures in their lives and don't try to change even a hair on each other's heads. Jason and Sam love each other unconditionally and for the first time in a long time, I see Jason truly trying to make all of Sam's dreams come true.

Jason and Sam want to spend the rest of their lives together, Jason and Sam want to love each other until they both take their last breaths, Jason and Sam want to make each other smile and they want to share everything they both have to offer.

Can't wait for the actual wedding of the proposal has been this great!

Through all the destruction, love does exist

And it exists in the form of no other than Jason Morgan and Sam McCall aka JaSam.

The two have literally been to hell and back in their relationship and away from each other. The chemistry on screen between Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco is so undeniable that it's hard not to get sucked into shipping this couple, that is of course if you're not a Liason fan.

One of the most amazing aspects of this couple is no matter how much they hurt each other in the past; they both realize there is no denying their love for one another. Sam accepts Jason for who he is- the danger and mob included.

Sam and Jason found their way back to each other after his relationship with Liz and hers with Lucky. The two star-crossed lovers knew deep in their hearts that they are meant to be with one another and no one else.

Sure, I bet there is a part of Jason that will always love Liz, she was the mother of his first born child, and I say first born because remember, Courtney miscarried her and Jason's child when she jumped off Alcazar's boat. But through it all, Jason has never stopped loving Sam and he pretty much said so last week when he told her he wanted to prove to her how much he loved her because the words weren't enough anymore.

Every time Jason looks at Sam know, his eyes say it all - she has his heart, now and forever. And there is no mistaking that Sam feels the same way about Jason.

The two know each other so well, Jason even called Sam out on her fear of their relationship failing if they were to get married, instead of Sam trusting in their love.

I can not wait for the actual proposal! Jason and Sam belong together and as I've said so many times before; if the characters can forgive, grow and move on from the past, shouldn't the viewers as well?

Liz and Jason both know Sam was acting irrational when she witnessed Jake being kidnapped and then she risked her own life to save the same little boy when he was taken from the Russian mob, Liz and Jason were thankful to Sam that night. Liz and Sam have mended their fences in terms of the Summer of Sleaze and lies, but some of the viewers can't let go.

Yes, I know everyone is entitled to their opinions, but ironically it doesn't matter who you are a fan of - Sam, Jason, Liz, Lucky, JaSam, Liason, LL2 or even LuSam - not every single viewer is going to be happy with the current state of their favorite character and/or couple.

I for one, really just enjoy watching a good story unfold on my screen and right now the only really good story on GH is the love story known as JaSam.

Here we go again, Elizabeth Webber makes a mistake and someone else takes responsibility for it.

Granted, I don't think Liz deliberately tried to kill Lucky's new bride, but there is no way Liz should have stayed in the OR when she realized it was Siobhan on the table.

Liz's mistake with the medicine nearly cost the Irish lady her life, but according to everyone, including Siobhan's husband, Liz didn't mean to do it. Fine, I get it Liz made a mistake, but WHEN is Liz ever going to pay for her mistakes?

Not only is everyone defending the single mother, but Lucky sat in his wife's hospital room convincing her to drop the malpractice law suit Siobhan brought against Liz.

When he should have been comforting his wife, Lucky instead was making her feel like she was wrong for not believing that Liz simply made a mistake and it could have been anyone else and Liz probably would have made the same mistake.

I may not be the biggest Siobhan fan or even a big LuSh fan, but could the agenda of bringing LL2 back together be any more apparent?

I mean seriously, Liz actually told Siobhan if she continued with the law suit she would lose Lucky because he wouldn't allow Siobhan to hurt her in that way - seriously, Liz you're now telling you're ex's new wife that he will chose you over her no matter what?

Again, the only way Guza knows how to bring a couple back together or to bring a story arc to life is to destroy a character and/or a couple to further his agenda.

And to boot, Steve stepped down as COS and appointed Robin in his place which we all know is simply to cause Scrubs some more angst now that Lisa is in a coma. Yeah, because it's so fun to watch Robin become even more of a control freak than she already is - NOT.

What I also don't get is when Liz was supposedly "in love" with Jason she was over Lucky and when she was having her affair with Nik she had out grown her first love, but now all of a sudden she's always loved Lucky and he's the only one for her. Again, Guza loves to rewrite history to further his agenda.

What's next for the snarky nurse and the newlyweds? Will LL2 reunite and send Siobhan back to Ireland or will Lucky realize how destructive he and Liz are when they're together?

Love S&B, but ...

The only time I see their chemistry from when they first fell in love is when they are alone, no interruptions and all lovey-dovey to each other!

They still have amazing chemistry when the two of them are in each other's orbits, but thanks to Guza again, Brenda has been destroyed AGAIN for what? So we can all realize how much the former head scribe loves Carly, yes we know that!

Funny thing is I love Carly too, as long as TB is not playing her, but enough already with the destruction of Brenda and the history that is S&B.

The only saving grace in this debacle of a horrible story arc is that MB stated in a recent interview that Sonny has always loved Brenda and always will love Brenda and VMG said that come hell or high water she will do whatever it takes to make sure S&B ride off into the sunset with each other is GH ever ends.

They have been and always will be my all-time favorite couple, they are my definition of soul mates in every sense of the word and what Guza has done to this couple is completely and utterly disgusting.

I thought it was bad when Guza destroyed Sam, Jason, Liz, Lucky, and Ric along with the destruction of JaSam, LL2 and ReXis just to give us Liason and Jake, but this is worse because he's not destroying Brenda and S&B for another couple - he's simply doing it for the heck of it and for no reason at all.

All Brenda has been reduced to is calling Carly, "that girl" which Brenda would never have done in the past, and screeching out every other word that comes out of her mouth - again something Brenda would never do.

Brenda used to be this sassy, yet vulnerable young woman that took things at face value and would never deliberately try to hurt anyone - yet for some reason, it seems as though at every turn Brenda is trying to hurt Sonny by being loyal to Jax.

Which - OMG is one of the most annoying parts of this gawd awful story arc. Brenda would not be running to Jax every day to discuss her problems with Sonny, especially after Jax left her at the alter for kissing Sonny goodbye.

Brenda knows that Jax has always been jealous of Sonny and it's no different now, I can't believe that again Guza's fault, Brenda forgave Jax for everything he put her through the last time she was in PC.

I love Brenda and I love Sonny and I love S&B, so no matter what Guza did to her character and the couple this time around, I will never waiver in my love for them. They are and still will be my all-time fave and honestly if GH were to end, TPTB better do everything in their power to allow S&B to ride off into the sunset together - the fans deserve that much!

Today was a sad day for this life-long General Hospital fan, it was the day I, along with many other fans had to bid farewell to Tyler Christopher and her character Nikolas Cassadine.

I'm glad that Tyler and Jonathan Jackson, Lucky, wrote Nik's final scenes together because they did the character justice.

To me, Nik is one of those characters that still has so much story arcs in him. The way he handed Aiden over to Lucky today but made sure to tell Lucky that just because he handed Aiden to him didn't mean he wasn't his father, hit home. Nik still does not believe that Liz and Lucky are telling him the truth and he believes that Aiden is his son.

In a way, what Nik did was step aside to allow Lucky and Liz the opportunity to find their way back to each other and become a real family.

Nik's speech about how Emily's death profoundly affected him and that he was simply searching for a replacement brought Nik back to his roots, but to me cheapened his relationship with Liz.

The Lik affair was never just a fling to them, that's not the way it played out on screen, they both valued their friendship and that friendship was taken to another level, not because of pure sexual fantasy, but through their deepened feelings for each other.

But Nik saved it when he told Lucky to imagine who would be on the other side of his out reached hand when Lucky was about to take his last breath. Of course, Nik was talking about Liz. In true fashion, the Prince left Port Charles supporting his brother and the true love he knows is between Lucky and Liz.

But it wasn't just a heartfelt emotional goodbye the two actually shared a laugh during the final scene when Lucky asked Nik why he never spoke with an accent, if you didn't see the scene, Nik did his best Russian accent and simply stated, "who says I haven't."

It was a nice way for the brothers to part ways and even though Emily is dead, Nik does not have to stay gone from Port Charles forever. He really has so much more of a story to be told.

For one, he is the only one that can really stop Helena and two why not have Sam team up with her cousin Nik to find out who her biological father is - now that's a mystery I'd love to see answered without Jason's help.

Thank you Tyler for the many years, tears and laughs you've given this General Hospital fan. You will be missed and I'm already looking forward to your return in August, unfortunately your scenes will be shared with LuLu.

After fighting as hard as I could ....

Jason Morgan and Samantha McCall aka JaSam has won me over again and I am officially back to shipping my second all-time favorite GH couple.

Sonny and Brenda will always be my favorite couple no matter what Guza does or did to destroy their love story, but JaSam was always a close second.

I never wanted to love JaSam again after the SOS simply because they destroyed each other. Jason lied to Sam about being Jake's father, Sam watched Jake be kidnapped by distraught mom Maureen, Sam hired a couple of goons to scare Liz with her children in the park, Jason threatened to kill Sam and the list goes on and on.

I honestly began to fall in love with LuSam because I thought JaSam would never happen again and Lucky didn't treat Sam like a doormat, unlike Jason. Then it happened. Slowly, JaSam began working their way back to each other.

First there was the night at the hospital during the toxic ball story arc when Sam shot Jason in the arm. They fed off each other and their chemistry was apparent, but I still tried to fight it off.

Then of course Mexico happened - they oozed sexiness and chemistry while Sam tended to Jason's wounds, they made love for the first time in years and of course the hysterical scene in the truck with the radio!

Again, I was skeptical because I didn't believe that Jason would put Sam first or that he wouldn't shut down like he always does at the first sign of a crisis.

Then there was all the squishy stuff again, the night they made love at the Penthouse and a shirtless Jason carried Sam as she straddled him down the stairs only to find a room full of people - again pure sexiness and chemistry exploded onto my screen. And then the night of SpiXie's non-wedding - again sexiness and chemistry but I still didn't want to get sucked back in because I hd a feeling Jason would return to being well, himself - a shut down, completely unemotional jack ass.

But finally, after everything that has happened, it was only a few lines that completely sucked me back in.

Jason said to Sam, "After all the damage we did to each other, why didn't you just write me off?"

and when he told her she was "perfect, except for the cooking." Again, I was squeeing with glee because it was all smooshy and squishy, it was vintage Jasam. I don't care what anyone else says, I have never seen Jason smile the way he does with Sam with anyone else! I never have and at this point I probably never will.

I just hope Garin Wolf gives Sam the independence that she deserves and simply doesn't become all about Jason again. Sam is a strong woman and needs to continue to challenge herself in order to keep growing.

And please let them get married before they have a child!!!

Liz finally gives me a reason to like her

If you've read my blog in the past, you know that I have hated Rebecca Herbst and her character Elizabeth Webber since the first day she stepped into Port Charles.

But, in the wake of Jake's death and Aiden's paternity reveal both the actress and the character have begun to win me over.

For months Liz has been tortured by the death of her second son and also the secret of Aiden's true paternity. Unfortunately, Robert Guza penned the story of Jake's demise with the focus being solely on Lucky Spencer and his father Luke and Jake's biological father, Jason Morgan. For some reason Guza did not find it necessary to include Liz in her own storyline, the storyline that needed to be showcased from a mother's point of view.

In reality, the story of Aiden's paternity started when Lucky found out then fiance Liz was cheating on him with his own half-brother, Nikolas Cassadine. Liz was hoping that Lucky would be Aiden's father, a fact known to all those involved in the triangle and of course, Nik's evil grandmother Helena - the matriach of the Cassadine clan who wanted her family fued with the Spencer's to continue at all costs.

Helena actually had two paternity tests changed to show that Nik was the father of Liz's unborn child, but after Aiden was born and began to to resemble Lucky more than Nik, Liz decided to have a third test done on the little tyke. Ironically, Liz had stated how much Jake was starting to resemble Jason before the youngster was killed.

Liz, going with her gut, had the third test done and was reading the results when Jake walked out the front door.

Liz was not only torturing herself for cheating on Lucky in the first place with Nik, she began to torture herself for not paying attention to Jake.

When Liz finally got around to reading the results, Lucky was at the courthouse marrying Siohban, so Liz rushed over there, results in hand but at the last minute decided to let Lucky move on with his life.

Again, the single mother began to torture herself on whether or not to tell the truth about Aiden's paternity. She wasn't keeping the secret to intentionally hurt anyone, she simply didn't want to cause Lucky any more pain as his world crumbled down around him. It wasn't until Lucky set the Spencer home on fire and Siohban injured in the same blaze did Liz decide it was time to give Lucky something to be happy about.

Naturally, Lucky did not believe Liz when she first explained what she learned and why she had kept it a secret, but eventually he relented and relished the idea of finally having a biological son.

Nik, on the other hand, threw Liz's past in her face, as well as Lucky's stating she's lied before why was this time any different? He also said Liz wanted Lucky to be the father and as a nurse she had the means to change the results.

Personally, I don't blame Nik because in reality, when Liz was pregnant with Cameron she told Ric he was the father when in fact Zander was, and then lied again about Jake's paternity to both Lucky and Jason, eventually Liz came clean with Jason but asked him to give up his rights so Lucky could raise Jake as his own and in the end all three agreed Jake would be better off with Liz and Lucky than Jason being a part of his life.

Though Liz showed a lot of growth in the wake of Jake's death it wasn't until she called her former swarn emeny, Samantha McCall, to her house that Liz to me really grew up in my opinion.

The two woman have never been friends, but when they went to the cabin in the woods to escape from the Russian mob, Liz and Sam forgave each other for their past actions and in a way became friendly with each other.

But the way Liz told Sam about Aiden's paternity really told me how much I could admire the character of Liz. Liz did not and does not owe Sam or Jason an explanation when it comes to Aiden's paternity. The way Liz told the story and brought up her past lies showen me that Liz had truly accepted responsibility for her actions in the lies that destroyed Sam and Jason, and her marriage to Lucky. She also told the sassy brunette that she could see why Sam was so compatiable with the mob enforcer - they are the "two least judgemental" people she's ever met.

But not only did Liz grow, Sam herself admitted for the umteenth time that she's lied in the past and done things she's not proud of.

What I can't understand is why the characters can EVOLVE, GROW and MOVE ON but some fans can't... There are so many fans out there that feel they deserve their couple because they've waited long enough over another couple simply because they like their couple better than another. And before WWIII starts, I'm not talking just about Liason or JaSam fans, I'm talking about CarSon fans, S&B fans, SpiXie fans, LL2 fans and the list goes on and on.

If one of the main reasons you hate a character or couple is because you feel your favorite character or couple was destroyed because of the one you hate, but then your fave forgives said hated person, shouldn't we as fans also EVOLVE, GROW and MOVE ON?

We all know this is a fictional show with fictional characters, right? We all know this is not reality. Liz is not your sister, friend or lover - neither is Sam, Jason, Lucky or Sonny.

Why can the characters do all these things, yet fans would rather be angry all the time than move on with the growth of the show?

GH Executives Strike ... Again

In the aftermath of the Becky Herbst firing and rehiring, two others have been let go by the powers that be. Tyler Christopher was informed by the execs at General Hospital that when his contract runs out in June he will not be offered a new one. On March 24, Christopher tweeted the following statements: "Seems to b some misconception that it was my choice to leave gh to go and do the lying game. Not so. I was let go unconditionally." "Just want to set the record straight so people can stop congratulating me." Christopher had been very frank about the recurring role he landed on ABC Family's "The Lying Game" but also stated he had no plans to leave General Hospital. On the heels of him being let go, we also learned Nikolas Cassadine's leading lady, Brook Lynn will also be written out of the show as portrayer Adrianna Leon was also given her walking papers. Leon didn't seem as surprised by the news considering her return to the popular soap was not under contract status. It is rumored that her character will be leaving Port Charles to go on tour. Both Nikolas and Brook Lynn have real ties to General Hospital history. Not only is Nik the son of Laura Spencer, but his grandmother Helena is the force behind one of the longest family feuds in soap history - the Spencers and Cassadines. Brook is the daughter of Ned and Lois Ashton, granddaughter to Tracy Quartermaine, one of GH's families with the richest history. One has to wonder or guess that when TPTB decided to rehire Herbst that they decided to relieve Christopher and Leon of their duties to help save some money in these rough economic times. Also, on screen, the viewers are about to see Liz learn the truth about her latest son's paternity - he is really Lucky's son, not Nik's. It's hard to fathom seeing more characters with history on the show leaving instead of TIIC learning to write for them and keep their stories fresh and exciting. The pairing of Nik and Brook seemed to be registering well with the fans. Some say they were the best pairing for Nik since his days with Emily. I'm really upset that the execs at GH/ABC keep firing characters with true ties to the show and keep bringing in newbies that may or may not have an impact at some point in time. At least that is the case with most of the conversations on General Hospital.

Seriously, can the writers please come up with something new and fresh for a change. I mean, I'm glad Ronnie is back, but of course the first conversation he has with Dante is about Dante's conflict of being both a cop and Sonny's son.

Enough already, we all get it! Ronnie hates Sonny and doesn't think Dante can be objective when Sonny is involved in any investigation.

I was pleasantly surprised when Ronnie told Lulu she wasn't deputized and she shouldn't be privy to any information regarding the hit and run of Jake. No wonder NO ONE has any faith in the PCPD. Not only was Dante discussing it with Lulu but Lulu had already discussed it with Luke and then Luke with Carly - ARGH!

Speaking of Luke, I like the fact he went to see Elizabeth, but I really am sick of seeing flat, boring scenes from Becky. I really don't understand how an actress can stay in the same role for more than 13-years and not grow in the craft! The character just lost one of her kids and you would think she cut her legs shaving, that is how flat she is.

The major WTF moment was when Robin announced to Patrick over breakfast that she left the needle in her locker. Are you kidding me? I mean I know that Jake was just brought in to the ER, but you couldn't think of any other place to hide the needle knowing that Lisa would not stop looking for it.

I have to admit, I like Lisa as a psycho, she's not as boring but this story arc has gone on way too long now and it needs to end - NOW. I also have to admit that I kinds dig how Johnny wants to save her from herself, but it's getting a bit creepy how he's always comparing her to Claudia.

Next thing you know he's going to have her wearing a black wig and red shoes - YUCK!

As if we already didn't know - Theo is a complete bastard! I love a good villain, and this guy is pure evil! I mean he is going to have his own wife killed. IMHO, GH has not had a pure evil villain since Manny was terrorizing PC. Sorry, Franco so does not count!

I just hope in the end it's Sonny, not Jason, that has the pleasure of feeding the Balkan to the fishes!

Speaking of Sonny! I am so happy we at least got a little bit of

BrenSon's honeymoon.

It may not be with Sonny shirtless, but it was still very much gold for me. Maybe they should have their own spin-off - with Sonny shirtless ALL THE TIME!!!

I swear if TPTB destroy BrenSon when Brenda's son is found, I will want to kill someone. I didn't wait all these years for Brenda to finally become Mrs. Sonny Corinthos for it to last less than a month or so.

I'm not sure why they recast Emma, but this new little girl is a cutie. I loved the way she asked for more syrup - so adorable!

I like that Robin asked Patrick to move back in, but I flashed back to the previous episode for a second and almost wanted to double slap Robin, one for leaving the needle in her locker and two for telling Patrick she was sorry for not forgiving him sooner for cheating on her. Really, she's sorry?!?!?

Okay, first let me preface that I don't condone any violence having to do with kids in any sense of the word, BUT I love this story arc for many reasons!

First, it truly is a story that can and should affect MOST if not the ENTIRE cast in some way shape or form.

Secondly, if a child had to get hurt or die, Jake in many ways is the perfect fit for the part. I know many may think that is completely heartless, but Cam has no real ties to half the families in Port Charles like Jake does and the truth about Aidan's paternity is going to be a huge story in itself.

So with that said, Jake is the one that had to go. I do have a question, when in the world did they change Jake's last name from Spencer to Webber?!?!?

The story of a child being hurt or killed is never easy to view or for the actors and actresses to tell, but it does make for great drama and usually Emmy worthy performances.

Speaking of Emmy worthy performances. At the top of my list so far are Steve Burton's Jason and Jonathan Jackson's Lucky. The two of them have been so powerful on screen that they, not the story itself, have brought me to tears!

Once again, I saw absolutely NOTHING from Becky Herbst. I can't blame all the crap being spewed out of Liz's mouth on BH because well it's the writers that wrote it, but for the love of anything important, Liz just lost one of her son's to a brutal and unnecessary accident and once again all Becky can muster up is crocodile tears.

Steve Burton, who many have nicknamed his character "The Borg", showed more emotion without speaking a word, than Becky did. Thank God Becky wasn't wearing waterproof mascara or her tears would have been completely non-existent.

And what's up with the writers re-writing history yet again? It was Liz that asked Jason to give up Jake and allow Lucky to raise him as his own. It was Liz that told Jason his lifestyle was too dangerous for her and her boys. And then for the writers to have Liz make the comment "You chose not to be with me" was even worse. It showed that even during this emotional crisis - Liz only cares about one thing -- HERSELF!

She also said Jason never looked back, but if she knew Jason at all; she would have known the pain Jason has been carrying with him about not being able to know his own son. I mean crap, the writers even gave him a "BOX OF PAIN."

I'm going to catch hell for this, but I love the fact the writers had Sam leave the hospital and simply explain why she couldn't be there for Jason at that moment. It showed how much Sam has grown in the past couple of years. She left out of respect for Liz, nothing more, nothing less. But the haters will say Sam was being selfish. I guess I can understand their point, I mean I never give Liz the benefit of the doubt, so why should Sam haters?

I hate that the writers made Josselyn have cancer in this story because it's a little to close to the BJ/Maxie heart transplant story. Why can't the writers come up with something new and fresh? Having Jake die was enough, they didn't need to incorporate another transplant story.

I have to give props to Laura Wright. She was great in the scene when Jason told her Liz said no to donating Jake's organs.

We all know Carly and Liz hate each other and Laura did a great job in saying she needed to make Liz understand. Again, great emotions from a very talented actress. I really wish the one woman who needs to show emotions would. Maybe, just maybe if I felt she could act then I wouldn't feel like I got slapped across the face when TPTB decided to keep her.

I though Jason Thompson did a great job during his part of the story as well. Again, he's basically an outsider to the story, no real connection other than being Liz's friend, but he showed great emotion as the surgeon that couldn't save Jake. I felt for him. The only silver lining if you chose to see it; is Robin asking Patrick to come home.

I don't think they needed to kill Jake to allow JaSam to have their baby, but a lot of fans think that and of course that will start yet another fanbase war between JaSam and Liason fans.

Unfortunately for Liason fans, Robert Guza, JR himself said the story is JaSam and LL2 - not Liason. I don't think they killed Jake to take away Liason's connection, if anything the death of Jake should help all four bond even more, IMHO.

I absolutely hate the fact Brian Frons and whomever else made the decision to NOT stick to their guns or guts and keep Becky Herbst fired!

I'm sorry, but when was Becky or her character Liz ever a true lead on General Hospital? She's always been given good story arcs and has never hit her scenes out of the park so to speak - well except for her rape s/l. For that I will give Becky props because she really did do a phenomenal job with her scenes.

Other than WTD s/ls and loving one man while sleeping with another or visa versa, Liz is very one dimensional. I'm going to refrain from talking about the Jake s/l until my next blog.

But I have to say, I'm ready for the character to leave Port Charles and never return.

Michael, Michael, Michael - seriously, enough with the I want to follow in Jason and Sonny's footsteps. You are nothing but a little punk and you can not handle yourself as well as you think you can.

How many times are Jason and Dante going to have to save your ass before you realize you are in way over your head?

While I love Chad in the role and really think he has made Michael his own, there's still a little bit of the brat inside him that I want to smack.

I'm also sick of everyone forgetting that Michael is in fact a Quartermaine! Even though Carly wishes Michael was really Sonny's son; he is AJ's and I hate the fact the writers never bring it up! When Abby met Edward at BrenSon's wedding, Michael or Edward should have explained right then and there that AJ is Michael's biological father!

Okay, I love the Davis girls and the connection they have with each other; but Kristina has got to dial it back quite a few notches when it comes to Michael.

She is starting to remind me way too much of Claudia and the way she was with Johnny - it's beyond creepy.

Not too mention as I've said many, many times (including in this post) Michael is not Sonny's biological son, so while Krissy thinks she's protecting her brother, maybe she should focus on being there for Molly and Morgan! Molly is still going through a lot with the bus tragedy and Morgan is well, always left behind in some sort of way!

Finally - the wedding I have basically been waiting for my entire General Hospital viewing life!

Sonny and Brenda are my definition of true soul mates in every sense of the word!

I loved everything about their wedding - especially when she was going to leave and Sonny stopped her. It truly made my heart melt!

Okay, even though the Balkan tried to use Sam as a diversion for Brenda - it was great to see Jason's reaction when he realized it was his lady love in the charred limo- not Sonny's wife.

I absolutely adored their scenes in the hospital - pure love and chemistry between the two of them! When Jason was leaving and he made the "sign" for 'I Love You' it was such a funny, yet tender moment for JaSam fans everywhere!

I'm actually loving the fact that Liz is figuring out that Aiden is really Lucky's son and not Nik's. From the comments about Lucky's baby pictures to her remembering that Helena was lurking about when the paternity test was being conducted.

Also, selfishly, I want Lucky to have his own child instead of being just the father figure to Liz's offspring. As much as I hate what Liz has done to Lucky- I still hold out hope that the young lovers find their way back to each other now that Liz is staying.

Did I mention how much I love Sonny and Brenda??? Seriously, they are endgame for me!

The love we see between Sonny and Brenda transpiring on screen is what I want to feel someday with my own Sonny! Seriously, they are "IT."

TPTB must realize what a gem they have in BrenSon. Some fans were not happy with VMG returning and reprising the role of Brenda - either they hate the character or they love CarSon that much. For me BrenSon and CarSon are total polar opposites in so many ways.

While I loved SJB's version of Carly; she was the ONLY Carly I thought had true chemistry with Mo, but even their chemistry doesn't hold a candle to the chemistry and love that is BrenSon.

Thank you Guza for finally giving me MY super couple!

There are so many new characters on General Hospital. Some I like and think they have a ton of potential of TPTB don't screw it up and some I've been wondering why on earth did TIIC bring in this person.

I'll start with Siobhan. I love the idea of this character. I find her very interesting. I love her involvement with Lucky. The one thing I can't stand is the gawd awful Irish "accent" she has. OMG it is the worse, fake accent I have ever heard on TV.

I really hope TIIC let her lose the accent somehow, because as much as I love the chemistry between Siobhan and Lucky; it's extremely hard to get past the accent.

I like that Lucky is trying to believe in her despite the women in his life that have lied to him in the past - Liz, Sam and Maxie. Make no mistake about it every woman in Lucky's life - past or present - has lied to him. INCLUDING HIS OWN SISTER!

I would really like to see Lucky actually happy for a change and with someone that truly wants him and ONLY him.

Theo aka the Balkan is one that I could truly do without! While I like when GH gets a real villain - Alcazar, Faith Roscoe, Manny Ruiz, Frank Smith to name a few; the Balkan seems too forced for me to enjoy. Not too mention how can not one person in Port Chuck figure it out?!?!? I mean com'on not everyone in PC is that stupid.

I can't stand to look at him either. I may be shallow; but his head reminds me of a potato and his voice sounds like he constantly has water in his mouth. How can Siobhan, who deals with him as both Theo and the Balkan not recognize the voice? He doesn't change it that much.

I haven't been sold on Shawn yet either. I like his chats with Molly, but what is he really doing on the show? Is he going to end up bedding Carly like some of the spumors state? Will he harm Molly unintentionally or intentionally at the Balkan's request? What about Brenda and Dante? Or Siobhan and Lucky? I just don't know where this character is headed and not sure he's interesting enough for me to even care at this point.

Sometimes TPTB take too long to develop a character and/or tell the story that the character becomes so useless and/or boring. They seem to be dragging out so many stories right now. I feel like Chandler on Friends , "Can we please move on?"

Abby is another character, like Siobhan, that I find very interesting. I like her friendship with Michael and actually find Mabby interesting as a possible couple. Especially now that Michael saved her from Brandon and admitted to her what happened to him in prison. I would love for Sam to get her to quit her job at the strip club and get her to work at McCall and Jackal - TIIC could actually focus on a female friendship for a change. But then again, Brenda has been back for what months and they barely showcase her friendship with Robin - which is completely, utterly disgusting and a slap in the face to most viewers - IMO. Brenda and Robin was one of the strongest female friendships on the show and you'd never know it because of TIIC.

Lastly, there's Terrel. The character COULD be interesting if he wasn't playing Robin for Lisa.

I would actually find the character more interesting if he suddenly realized he had feelings for Robin and not Lisa and truly began to 'chase' Robin.

But the whole, Lisa is the one that got away plot for him just isn't working for me.

Maybe, just maybe, someone on GH, living in PC could actually not have an agenda. Yeah, I know it's wishful thinking, but one can hope can't they.

So what's your take on the newbies? Like some? Like 'em all? Hate some? Hate 'em all? What could change your mind either way?

General Hospital is yet again crossing that proverbial line with Michael Corinthos' current storyline.

As awful as this may sound, I am so intrigued with what the writers may have in store for us that I'm truly fascinated by what is transpiring on my screen.

Chad Duell is doing a great job portraying a rape victim and the story, while harsh to hear and view, is more realistic than when Jax was raped by Irena or whatever her name was.

Unfortunately, inmates are raped everyday in prison and GH is taking a chance in turning away viewers in utter disgust with Michael coming clean about what Carter really did to him in prison.

I just hope TIIC don't drop the ball with this one and actually tell the story to its fullest. Meaning, I want to see Michael in therapy explaining what has been going on with him; I want to see Michael continue to struggle with his feelings about what happened to him and continue to lash out at those around him when he has a memory and/or is startled by something or someone. I really hope TIIC don't simply say, 'Okay, Michael has told the people who care about him most so he's all better now.' That to me would be such an injustice to the s/l and prove that Robert Guza is just in it for the shock factor.

I can't wait to see how this all unfolds and can't wait to see how Chad tells the story in character.

Speaking of those that care about Michael let me first tackle Carly.

I absolutely adore Carly, most of the time. She is one of my all-time favorite characters; especially when SJB originated the role and now since Laura Wright has made the role her own - but I really want to bitch slap Carly into next year never mind next week.

I get that everyone in Port Chuck is a hypocrite at one time or another and that most can be the most selfish people on the planet, but for Carly to end her marriage to Jax because he went to London to talk to Interpool on Brenda's behalf is crazy - even for Carly.

Since when is Carly insecure about any woman? We are talking about Carly, not Lulu or Liz or even Sam - when has Carly ever felt fear when it comes to another woman? NEVER. Yes, Carly hates Brenda more than she has hated any other woman in Sonny or Jax's or even Jason's life, but insecurity does not look good on Carly at all.

Carly should be thinking to herself that Jax left Brenda at the alter and humiliated her just for kissing Sonny good-bye on the docks, yet he forgave Carly not once, but twice for sleeping with Sonny. Umm, hello - kettle meet pot. She even said to Jax that she didn't want to sit around and wait to be number one in his life, even though she puts Jason and Sonny before him. I just truly wish at this point the real Jax would stand up and take his life back. This is supposed to be the same man that divorced Skye for her not telling the truth about Brenda's illness and leaving Brenda at the alter for kissing Sonny, yet he forgives and loves Carly for always putting SaSon before him. Ummm, I think Jax needs a bitch slap back to reality.

But, I guess TPTB can't tell a story of one couple - Brenda and Sonny, without ruining other couples in the process (CarJax and Lante so far).

Speaking of couples, I for one am thrilled with the idea of JaSam having a baby and feel like cutting my own eyes out instead of having to read one more comment about how TPTB never gave Liason a chance to be a family, yet they'll let Jason have a family with Sam.

GMAFB, not everything Jason does has to revolve around Liz and her kids. Liz was the one that asked Jason to hide the fact he was/is Jake's father and Jason agreed, especially after Michael was shot. So, because Liz feels Jason's life is too dangerous, he should never, ever consider having a child with his soulmate?

To me it's not a slap in the face to Liz fans, she made this happen. She chose not to be with Jason because of the danger, she wanted Lucky or Nik or whomever, just not Jason as long as he stayed a mob enforcer. That's her problem, not JaSam's.

Remember when Liz said Jason's life was too dangerous and she left him because he lied about Sonny not really being dead; yet she slapped Courtney for falling in love with Jason. Again, Liz had made her decision and it was like she expected Jason to sit around and pine for her. That is another reason in itself that makes Liz unlikable for this GH fan.

While I hope they don't kill off a child, even Jake, to help tell the story of JaSam's miracle child; I actually wouldn't mind seeing Liz having to deal with the consequences of her actions, of the rumors are true and she is the reason Jake dies. I also would like to think that both Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco would knock their scenes outta the park.

What do you guys think? Will Michael's story be told the right way? Who should feel the most guilty for what happened to him? Should Carly simply leave Jax and move on or try and fight for her man? Does JaSam's story have to revolve around Liz and her decisions?

Fans will be saying good-bye to another veteran

After 13-years portraying snarky Elizabeth Webber, Rebecca Herbst was fired by General Hospital.

News of Becky's firing sent fans spiraling on several soap opera message boards and Twitter.

I for one did not and still do not understand some of the comments - especially the ones that state Becky was the show's best actress and GH will now be cancelled because she was fired. I'll get back to that later though.

There had been rumors dating back to the "Summer of Sleaze" that Becky was on thin ropes with the powers that be, but gave her another shot by pairing her with Steve Burton's Jason Morgan as the other half of Liason.

There was plenty of backlash during that time from Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) fans who at the time was paired with Burton as JaSam. Monaco/McCall fans were outraged at the way the character was being portrayed. As if Sam would actually allow a child, even Liz's, to be kidnapped by a deranged-psycho woman. There were fanbase wars between Liason and JaSam fans calling the pairs Liarson and JaScam among other things and viewers were acting as if Liz and Sam were their family members. It got crazy, BSC to be exact.

Then TPTB decided to put JaSam back together and pair Liz with Lucky Spencer, the man she shared "super couple" status with. Unfortunately, the LnL2 reunion was marred by Liz's affair with Lucky's half-brother Nikolas Cassadine. While I enjoyed Lik/Niz some fans were outraged that Liz would cheat on then fiance Lucky. To make matters worse, Greg Vaughan had been fired as Lucky and replaced by the character's originator Jonathan Jackson, whom most felt Becky had the best chemistry with.

Unfortunately, with chemistry subjective to each and every viewer, writer, producer, actor, etc... LnL2 and Lik/Niz were not hitting the audiences as much as they were perceived to be and the writing was put on the wall. Liz suffered a mental breakdown and watched all the men in her life - Lucky, Nik and Jason- move on with other women; well in Jason's case he got back together with his "soulmate" Sam.

Then the news broke about Becky's firing. While it's understandable that Becky/Liz fans were outraged- this fan of GH couldn't be happier.

While some spouted that Becky was/is the best actress on GH, I find her to be the worst. After 13-years of playing one character, Becky has not improved her range as an actress. The best she can do is snark and give a good "bitch please" face and even that face is bested by her own 'son' Cameron. When Liz had to show emotion over her best friend Emily's death the best Becky could muster up was crocodile tears.

The only two times I actually liked or tolerated the character of Liz was when Liz was raped and during her affair with Nik. Both times I enjoyed watching Liz and Becky. Other than that - B-O-R-I-N-G!!

To me, when the writers gave Liz a breakdown storyline, it was a cop out in an attempt to save the character after having yet another affair. As far as I'm concerned if you have an affair or even cheat once, deal with it. Take responsibility for your actions and don't blame others. The writers tried to save Liz by sending her to Shadybrook.

I wish Becky the best of luck, but I can't wait to see the exit the writers give her. There have been rumors that Jake will some how be killed and Liz with leave town with Cam and Aidan. Not that I ever enjoy seeing a storyline revolving around a child's death, I think it will be great material for other characters (Jason, Sam and Lucky) to deal with the aftermath.

Another annoying factor in the firing of Becky is the BSC fans that are actually outraged TPTB would fire a mother of three.

Are you kidding me??? There are everyday Joes and Janes that are being laid off or fired because of the economy. People are losing their homes because they can't make ends meet. I can't feel bad for any entertainer that makes millions of dollars a year and doesn't know how to save- shame on them!

Okay, enough of my rant. To the sane Liz/Becky fans out there, I am sorry for your loss. For the BSCs - don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

Not much of a cliffhanger

Friday's episode of General Hospital didn't really have that cliffhanger ending, but there was a lot I really enjoyed about this episode - particularly Lucky and Michael's scenes.

The way Lucky approached Michael at the Quartermaine Boathouse was great; he was neither threatening nor passive.

Lucky simply spoke to Michael as a young man, not a little child. I enjoyed the fact that Lucky asked Michael to give him the details of what happened the night Claudia died from his account without having anyone else there to try and change the story. I admired that about Lucky because it gave the detective the opportunity to hear Michael's confession without someone trying to protect the young killer.

Lucky and Michael have not had the best of relationships since Michael woke from his year long coma, but Michael seemed really comfortable talking to Lucky about what happened the night Claudia was killed.

What was even better was Lucky told Michael he had to take him to the courthouse, but it was Michael's decision whether or not he wanted to tell the judge what really happened on that fateful night. The chance is something not one other person in his life had given Michael.

Sonny, Jason, Carly, Johnny and even Jax have allowed Sonny to take the blame for the night Claudia died, without giving Michael any choice whatsoever. Dante upon learning the truth decided the truth was more important than Sonny being convicted of a crime he didn't commit.

I was even more thrilled when Lucky used his authority and pulled his gun on Jason. While I've enjoyed some of Jucky's conversations about Liz and the children I really never understood how they all of a sudden became friends. That was definitely a WTF moment for me.

Lucky and Jason have been at odds since Lucky returned from the fire and when he found out Jake was actually Jason's child it fueled the feud even more, then all of a sudden out of no where, they were best buds - umm, yeah not gonna happen.

I also enjoyed watching Claire all flustered when Dante was telling his story and detailing Michael's confession to the judge. I hope this does ruin Claire's career and it gets her off my screen!

I'm looking forward to Monday's episode to see what happens between Lucky, Jason and Michael; the scenes between Dante and Sonny and of course Carly and Lulu.

Heading into May sweeps; GH has a lot of important story arcs on the canvas and so far the only one boring me to tears is the one involving Elizabeth and her third bastard child.

Will love prevail?

When all is said and done, can Carly and Jax save their marriage? Can love prevail or will irreconcilable differences force Mr. and Mrs. Jax to walk away from each other?

Will the way Carly protects Sonny and Jason and the way Jax loathes them force the once happy couple to part for good?

What's more important to Jax, the love for his wife and his marriage or getting one over on Sonny? Let's face it, Jax has hated Sonny since Brenda. I don't think the corporate raider has ever gotten over the fact that the woman he once loved more than his own life chose Sonny over him more than once and now it's that exactly what his wife, Carly, is doing? Choosing Sonny over Jax?

Carly isn't perfect, but her love and support for Sonny has always been there and no matter who she is married to, Sonny will always come first. The only person that ranks higher than Sonny, besides her children, is Jason.

Carly will take whatever Jason says at gospel - no matter what. Jason could tell Carly the sky is purple and Jax could say it's blue and Carly would side with Jason.

When all is said and done and after the smoke clears with the trial will CarJax be able to work on their marriage or will it end up being just another divorce in Port Charles?

I didn't like CarJax when they first started their relationship, but honestly, I fell head over heels for them. Carly became more mature and grounded; Jax became more loyal and loving. They both knew about CarSon's history and even Jax and Sonny's history and despite it they fell in love with each other; but will that love prevail in the end?

Talk about walking a thin line ....

Claire is so far over the line that it's not even funny anymore!

First she calls Johnny to the Metro Court and tells him which juror is holding out on the guilty verdict, which by the way how in the world did she even freaking know that?????

Then she goes to Dante's unannounced, basically kicks Lulu out and then threatens Dante with obstruction of justice - are you kidding me?

I'm sorry but if this is the underhanded tactics of a Federal Prosecutor I would take my chances with a public defender. This woman is so far off the map it's not even funny.

It's not even ambition that's the problem, yeah we all know that a conviction of a known mobster would boost her career, but Dante is right - she's bending the law and not even hiding it.

And don't even get me started on what she did to Morgan!!!

Claire Walsh is really a character that I absolutely hate, I don't even love to hate her; she just grates on the very being of my nerves.

I just want to jump through my TV and slap the taste out of her mouth! I want her off my TV more than I've ever wanted anyone off. I hate her more than I hate Liz and more than I love Sonny.

Okay, I'm done with my rant. What's your thoughts on Claire? Love her? Hate her? Want her to stay or get the heck out of Port Chuck?

Carly shows her claws, Lulu feels the wrath

Carly, who has always been on Lulu's side has finally called her young cousin out on her betrayal. I nearly stood up and applauded when Carly called her out!

I've been back and forth with Lulu for years. I liked her when she first came on the show and then despised her for breaking up Georgie and Dillon and then tolerated her after that. I even began to love her friendship with Maxie. I hated her when she was with Johnny and despised her when she was lying to Lucky about Jake. Ahh, yes, there is my point - she lied to Lucky about Jake when she knew all along that Jason was the father of Elizabeth's baby and not Lucky.

She lied to her brother and even helped Elizabeth send pictures to Jason. So, here she is again, betraying her family for someone else.

It was bad enough when she was betraying Lucky, her brother, but Carly has always been the staple female in her life. Not that Carly is the by any means the perfect role model, but nonetheless she has always stood by Lulu in the past.

Carly was absolutely right when she told Dante he was someone that "just happened to be related but Lulu is family."

When Lulu started spouting all her BS about how Carly, Jason and Sonny broke the law trying to protect Michael and that Dante was just doing his job, yeah she was right; but that was an awful thing to say to one member of her family that never let her down. This isn't the first time that Lulu was out of line with Carly - remember when she burst into Carly's home begging Carly to not let Sonny go after Johnny after Michael was shot at the warehouse?

Lulu always seems to put the guys in her life in front of her family. That's not someone I would want as the godmother of my daughter. I wonder if Carly is already rethinking that decision?!?

I certainly hope that Carly doesn't forget what Lulu has done the next time Lulu comes crying to Carly.

Kristina makes a break through

I absolutely loved the sequences with Alexis and Kristina!

This mother-daughter duo is amazing!

Alexis started asking Kristina the hard questions regarding Keifer and Kristina was actually honest with her answers. I think the writers are doing a fantabulous job with this story arc and I'm glad they haven't dropped the ball and just had Alexis and Kristina act like none of this ever happened.

I was so proud of Alexis when she told Kristina, in so many words, told Kristina that she didn't need Keifer to make her feel special that she was already special without him. There are so many young and adult women that feel the men in their lives, regardless of how awful they are, are what makes them who they are. Women like Kristina will deal with abuse - physical or verbal - from their husbands, boyfriends or lovers simply because they believe their abusers regret what they did and think it's their fault that they were hit in the first place.

I love that Alexis is trying to tell Kristina that she should not be blaming herself. No matter what a woman (or child) does it does not warrant being physically abused as a punishment. There is a difference between a mother or a father spanking their child's bottom when they do something wrong than when a mother or father, husband or boyfriend raises their hand to their child, spouse or girlfriend.

I really enjoyed Kristina's visit with Sonny as well. I think this is the first real conversation the father and daughter have ever had. Hands down, regardless if you like Sonny or not, he was amazing with her!

As a viewer that is truly enjoying this storyline, I wish we could actually see some of the sessions Kristina is sharing with Lainey. I think that's an important part of the story. I think if TPTB continue to tell this story one of the best ways is to have Kristina telling her side of things to someone that is completely outside of her family and hearing what their advice is. There is so much more to this story; especially the way Kristina is going to deal with her feelings. I hope we get a ton more scenes with Alexis and Kristina and actually I think it would be great if we got a scene with Alexis, Kristina and Molly and Sam. I think the four females could really bond and help each other deal with the ramifications of Kristina's abuse.

I'm sorry if I offend any Elizabeth fans here; but oh my god this storyline is so freaking boring and makes me loathe the twit even more.

While Michael Learned has been a breath of fresh air on the daytime soap; I really wish her storyline would revolve around Scrubs or anyone other than Elizabeth. The best part is we actually got to see Dr. Matt Hunter for at least five seconds!

I think part of the reason why I hate this storyline and it's boring me so much is because I know it's the writers way of trying to redeem Liz.

Sorry, but nothing at this point could redeem Liz in my eyes. The woman is horrible. I'm so sick of hearing about how bad Lucky is in their relationship but sorry to say it Liz fans, Liz is no angel!

Before all the Liz lovers try and defend her by saying that Lucky slept with her sister Sarah - yeah he did - BUT and this is a HUGE BUT - Lucky and Liz were already broken up. Was it right for Lucky to sleep with Sarah? No he wasn't, but at least he wasn't engaged to Liz at the time the way Liz was to Lucky when she was sleeping with Nikolas.

Not too mention Liz lied to Lucky about the true paternity of Jake when she knew all along that Jason was truly the bastard's father. And I do not mean bastard in the derogatory sense; Jake is a bastard, he was born out of wedlock. He is not the only bastard on GH either - Cameron is also one, along with Dante, Michael, Kristina, Spencer and practically every other child on GH.

Apparently I'm really frustrated with having to defend my opinions when it comes to Liz and her off springs. But I digress.

This story will redeem Liz in the eyes of some viewers, but for me it's a poor attempt in redemption. Liz has not paid for any of the mistakes she's made. No one in Port Charles besides Lucky and Lulu called Liz out for who she is, but Liz lovers say the whole town was/is against her.

Okay, enough of my rant.... what are your feelings on Liz and her current storyline? Are you enjoying Michael Learned?

Yup, it's official - I am so on the Chad Duell bandwagon!

This kid in such a short period of time has completely sold me on the role of young, impressionable, pig-headed Michael Corinthos.

I love this kid already! The scenes he had with Lexi Ainsworth, aka Kristina Davis, was amazing. Nothing against Drew Garrett, but CD definitely showed more compassion despite the fact Michael has always hated Kiefer, and with good reason. There is no way that DG could pull off those scenes.

I don't know about anyone else out there in the land of GH lovers, well besides Jenny, that may love Chad, but I certainly hope there is!

I normally hate when characters get recast during a story arc in which the actor is a key player, but TPTB nailed this one, I mean really knocked this one out of the park!

I'm pleasantly surprised with how well GH has done with casting its young actors. I just hope they realize what they have and keep these youngsters around for a very long time.

So, raise your hand if you're loving Chad in the role of Michael and voice your opinion if you're on the other side of the fence or even still forming your opinion.

Okay, so I love Skye, but why exactly has she returned to Port Charles?

I don't get it, she needs to locate Lorenzo's foreign holdings and only Luke can help her? Did I miss something.

I truly hope TPTB give her a storyline and soon because if not they are truly wasting a phenomenal character - just like they wasted Ric.

So far all Skye has done is have two conversations with her "favorite" ex-husband Jax and flirt with Luke; yeah, yeah she visited Kristina and got her to talk to Ethan, but com'on there has to be more to Skye's story. Where has she been? Where's Lila Rea? Why is Skye really back? What is she hiding? There has to be more!

So, we have Skye who has returned from god knows where and we haven't seen Lila once, but that's Okay, we have Alice on screen at least once, if not more than once a day, to enjoy. While normally I love the way Alice antagonizes the Quartermaines, but her as the jury foreperson is over the top; especially since the judge removed Coleman from the jury.

A little Alice goes a long way and I think TPTB only did this to give one of their bit players and the trial a little too much oompf to it, JMO of course.

The way they are making Alice be more of a dictator is just another way to drag out the outcome of the trial, no offense as much as I've enjoyed watching Diane work her magic in the courtroom and loved Carly holding her own against Claire, I really am ready for this trial to be over so we can move onto the next story arcs.

Which betrayal is worse?

Dante really is in a tough situation. He really has two choices - betraying his father by telling truth that his brother is the one that really killed Claudia or betraying his brother and letting his father take the rap. Either way the newest "Corinthos" could wind up betraying his badge.

All this time, Dante thought his father, Sonny, was the one that killed Claudia and never believed that it was done to protect Carly and Josselyn, now finally after months of trying to build a case against the father he barely knows, he comes to find out that it was in fact his brother, well actually not his brother, Sonny's adoptive son, Michael. Because let's face facts, Michael and Dante are NOT related. I'm so sick of hearing "my brother" this, "my brother" that - they are not related.

Dante is Sonny's biological son while Michael is Sonny's adoptive son. Olivia is Dante's mother and Carly is Michael's so how exactly are they related? They're not! Dante is a half-brother to Morgan and Kristina but not Michael. I really wish TPTB would get their story straight and have someone acknowledge that fact. OK, rant over.

So, what is the cop going to do? Is he going to tell Claire or the rest of the PCPD what he found out? Or is he going to let the father he despises take the fall for a crime he didn't commit?

Regardless it's a no-win situation for Dante. He either makes Sonny, Jason and Carly mad or Michael himself; not too mention, Claire is not going to be happy when she finds out that this whole time she's been prosecuting the wrong man.

Claire's not going to be happy when she finds out the truth and I'm sure she's not going to be too happy with Jax when/if she finds out that he's been protecting Michael this whole time as well.

No one is going to win with this situation, but then again Michael should face the consequences for his actions regarding Claudia. Yes, he was saving his mother and newborn sister, but he still killed a woman.

Regardless of the outcome, all the characters involved will feel the wrath of Claudia even though she's dead. Her being dead is causing more grief on those involved more than she ever did alive, well besides the time she got Michael shot.

What would you do if you were Dante? Betray the father you never knew or someone you keeping calling your brother even th0ugh he's not really related to the young man? As a cop, which is more important - protecting Michael who was a minor at the time of the murder or upholding the law.

What about Lulu and Maxie? Besides the fact they are hiding Michael, what would you do - betray the man you love to help Michael tell the truth or well, let Sonny take the fall as planned?

Praising Diane Miller

I absolutely love this character and I absolutely love Carolyn Hennesy.

When Diane first showed up in Port Charles, I couldn't stand her. In fact I down right loathed her; but now the woman is pure gold!

From her interactions with Sonny, Jason and Carly to her romance with Max and friendship with Alexis- the woman is hard, strong, confident, romantic and funny. She is the complete package!

The way she speaks to Sonny and Jason and yes, even Carly, she always speaks the truth and that is a breath of fresh air. She calls all of them out on their ish and doesn't hold back when speaking to Alexis or Max either. I really wish TPTB would put Carolyn on contract and we could have more of Diane- heck instead of doing another Night Shift they could create a prime time spinoff with her and Alexis.

I think I'm actually repeating myself because I think I have said this all before, but Carolyn's/Diane's performance during this whole "Claudia" mess has been amazing. The woman not only deserves a contract, she deserves her own show.

I've always been a huge Carolyn fan from her guest spots on "That 70's Show" and "What I like About You" and now I watch "Cougar Town" more to see if she's going to be on more than for the show itself.

What are your thoughts on Diane? Is she all I'm making her out to be?

Dante actually completed his mission and served his, and I use this term lightly, half-brother with a subpoena to testify at his father's trial. I used the term "half-brother" lightly, because unlike Morgan and Kristina, Michael has absolutely no relation to Dante. They have the same father, but ironically Michael was adopted by Sonny and Dante never knew Sonny was his father until a couple of months ago. But, I digress.

When Dante called Sonny "scum" I wanted to jump through my TV and slap him and maybe it's my Sonny loving heart that's blinding me, but I can't help it. I accept Sonny, flaws and all. The man is a mob boss and in reality the mob on GH, up until Sonny shooting Dante point blank in the chest, was Mickey Mouse at best.

Again, I digress....

Michael began to confess to Dante that it was him, not Sonny that killed Claudia, but of course Dante didn't believe him. Just like Mac, Dante dismissed Michael's confession, until he asked for proof. You just knew that Michael keeping that shirt all this time was going to come back to either bite him or save him at some point.

I just wonder what Dante is going to do once he finds out the blood is in fact Claudia's and it was Michael that killed Claudia. Wonder if the new super cop is going to regret lying about his father shooting him when he realizes Sonny is innocent.

Ok, back to NuMichael. I have to admit in just two short days, even though I still can't get used to how deep Chad's voice is, I'm already starting to like this kid. I don't know, how is he growing on me so fast? Well, I have to agree with one of my devout readers Jenny.

Jenny said "Not taking anything away from DG, I think Chad will be able to bring more to the table as the Michael character. Just in those short scenes of yesterday, he already showed me a more wider range of emotional capability with nuances. DG was more of one note. Chad seemed to display a deeper emotional depth."

I agree with Jenny, Chad has brought more depth to the character already and he's only had two days of work. I'm not completely sold on him yet, because, well, he's still not Michael to me, but he is growing on me fast.

Side notes: How great was it to see Matt today and with a yellow feather boa to boot??? I was so thrilled! I mean seriously, had they used Matt since they aired the new credits? Nope, didn't think so. Maybe they had to show Matt because they are planning to start the Spin/Maxie/Matt triangle? What I don't understand is if Maxie wants danger in her life as she told Jason, on what planet would that include Matt?!?!?!? Johnny, I could see, actually I would welcome Johnny and Maxie, but Matt? Com'on, dangerous? No way!

It was great to see JaSam interacting today and in a playful, yet sensual way. Just because they both have different things going on in their lives does not mean we shouldn't get to see them interact. I mean if anything when a couple has a crisis they are going through, generally they rely on each other for comforting and support. It seems as though JaSam have been making decisions on their own without considering what the other thinks or feels. I'm glad that Jason let Sam know he didn't mean to hurt her when he decided to take the deal to go to prison that was offered to Sonny.

Ok, rant over for the night. What are you guys thinking about Michael? His confession? Dante's reaction? Matt and the yellow feather thingy? Anything and everything going on?

When Molly decided she would go to Jason and ask him for help with Warren Bauer, I couldn't believe my ears.

Molly, besides Morgan, is the sweetest child on the show and truly has a heart of gold that's filled with romance.

The poor youngster's world has been turned upside down due to her sister, mother and the Bauers.

Molly, scared for her family, actually went to Jason and asked him to make Mr. Bauer "disappear."

Whether you like Jason or not, you have to admire the way he spoke to Molly about how he failed Michael and that he never wants a child to be a part of "the business." Plus I love that fact that Jason told Molly that he loves Sam. AWWW!

After speaking with Jason, the Molly part of heart melted even more when the young lady, wise beyond her years, fessed up to her mom and sister that she asked the hitman to take care of Mr. Bauer and for once, Alexis even seemed to defend Jason - wait did that really happen??

There is something very smart, yet naive about Molly and I pray with all the recasts TPTB seem to be doing with the younger actors and actresses that Molly is saved. Haley Pullos has been pure gold in the role and it would be heartbreaking to see her ever leave the show. Hey, here's a thought, Kimberly McCullough grew up on the show as Robin Scorpio, why can't Haley do the same? If you think about it, Robin and Molly are actually a lot a like, at least when Robin was her age.

Help from where you least expect it

Skye has been either a fan favorite or one that fans hate, I happen to love the sassy red head and was pleasantly surprised when she showed up at the lake house.

In case you haven't been watching GH for a long time; when Kristina was a baby and Alexis plead guilty of killing Luis Alcazar by reason of insanity; Ned had custody of Kristina and Skye pretty much played mother to the youngster.

Anyway, it was nice to see an adult comforting Kristina; not that Sam and Alexis haven't been, but it's different when the adult really has nothing to do with the two families involved.

Seeing Skye nurture Kristina the way she did made me love her even more.

I was thrilled when Skye suggested she could help Kristina and they showed up at the Haunted Star so Kristina could speak with Ethan.

I loved the way Ethan eased Kristina's pain, mind and guilt. Whether he was telling the truth or not about when he was a 14-year-old infatuated with his friend's 20-year-old sister or not; it was great to see Ethan and Kristina interacting in a calm, not stressful situation and without Kristina throwing herself at Ethan.

He may be too old for her; but I would love to see an real, true friendship grow with the two.

NuMichael makes his debut

Chad Duell appeared on today's General Hospital with the familiar voice over "the role of Michael Corinthos ...."

I'm not sure what my take is on this kid yet; he hasn't been on long enough for me to judge him. But with that said, I don't understand why Drew Garrett was let go. This kid, I'm sure is going to be a fine actor, has too deep of a voice for his look. He has a baby face, yet his voice is almost deeper than Steve Burton's LOL.

I guess I'll have to wait and see how everything turns out with Chad. I almost always hate when soaps or any other show recast a character midway through a story arc, especially if said character is a main part of the story. That's exactly the case with Michael.

TPTB could have easily had Michael go somewhere anywhere when/if the truth about Claudia ever came out and had the "NuMichael" come on the show then.

Kind of like when they shipped Carly off to the insane asylum and had her reappear during the train wreck - you know when the recast Jennifer Bransford with Laura Wright.

But, like I said, I'm going to hold my judgement until I see what Chad can do with the character. I do wish Drew all the luck in whatever project he takes on next.

Carly rocked, Warren got socked

Carly is a character you either love or hate and while I mostly love the character (except when TB was in the role) her performance today at Sonny's trial made me love the hypocrite even more!

Yes, I just called her a hypocrite, because like most every other person in Port Charles she is a hypocrite, except nine times out of ten the woman owns it. She doesn't pretend to be anything that she isn't. She's proud of her actions and calls herself out when she's wrong.

Carly Corinthos Jax was purely brilliant with the story she told on the stand. Ironically, most of what she said was true. The only difference being that Sam didn't show up and help her deliver the baby and it was Michael that saved Carly and Josselyn not Sonny.

I loved that TPTB actually used the real footage of what happened that night and didn't cut Claudia out just because SJB is on another soap now. TV shows, prime time or daytime generally don't use footage of characters that are no longer on the show. I applaud the writers, directors, editors and everyone else for using the original shots.

What I loved about Carly today was that she kept her cool even though Claire Walsh was trying to shoot holes in her story. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I see fear in Claire's face and hear it in her voice.

If I were a juror at a real trial, based on the facts of this case, I would believe Carly's compelling story and want to acquit Sonny.

I love how Sonny, as always questioned Carly's plan, but then rewarded her with not only his words, but his kiss as well. I may not be a CarSon fan, but they do still ooze chemistry together.

One man that should truly check himself is Warren Bauer. I was thrilled when Sam decked him in the middle of the PCPD.

I get that he's supposed to be grieving over his son and no parent ever wants to believe that their child is capable of being am abuser, but com'on man, verbally attacking the 17-year-old victim in her hospital room and then calling her a liar in her own home is not the right way to act, especially for an adult.

Alexis was absolutely right when she told Warren abuse victims often protect the one that's abusing them.

I actually had a roommate who stayed with the man that broke her nose, threw her down a flight of stairs and gave her two black eyes because she was in the shower too long on Super Bowl Sunday.

She actually, like Kristina, blamed herself for making him mad and said it wouldn't have happened had she gotten out of the shower sooner. This story that General Hospital is telling is very true and I'm glad they haven't just brushed it under the rug for another story arc; at least not yet.

When Molly went to Jason for help, I was nearly screaming at the TV. Molly is normally very smart and to have her go to Jason to "shut Mr. Bauer up" was very out of character even if she's just a 10-year-old.

I can't wait to see what Mr. Bauer does after Sam punched him; how the jury reacts to Carly's testimony and how Kristina deals with the emotional pain she is feeling. Her bruised body with heal, but her mental stability and broken heart is going to take a lot longer.

Again, sorry my posts have been so few and far between. I'm going to start blogging on a daily basis again.

Isn't blood supposed to be thicker than water?

Once again Lesley Lu has turned from sweet good-hearted Lulu to well, Shrewlu.

I get that she's in love with Dante, and I'm actually a Lante supporter, but this is not the first time Lulu has sided with someone other than her family.

Lulu knew that Jake was actually Jason's son and not Lucky's but she not only lied to Lucky for months, she also served as a go between for her former sister-in-law and the mob enforcer. Yeah that's what I call family loyalty.

Granted Lulu just found out that Ethan is her brother less than a year ago, but nonetheless he is her brother and the way she was screaming at Luke about Dante was simply wrong. Luke may not be father of the year material, but he is still her father and he is worried about Ethan and the way he was treated while he was in lock-up. Shrewlu needs to take a step back and realize that when all is said and done, family is what gets you through your darkest hours, not your latest fling.

Speaking of Ethan, the poor guy was wrongfully accused, not once but twice, for being the one who attacked Kristina only to be arrested for running down Kiefer when in fact it was Alexis who killed her daughter's attacker. Then Ethan while in lock-up basically ends up with the same bruises as Kristina for a crime he didn't commit.

When Kristina confronted Ethan in the hospital, it made me realize just how small she really is. She looked not only like a little kid, but every ounce of the fragile she should be at this time. And poor Ethan is getting screamed at by Kristina for something he didn't do. I for one reacted the same way he did when he questioned why she would keep accusing him of things he didn't do.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that Kristina accused Ethan of killing Kiefer or that she is still defending Kiefer after he hit her on more than one occasion. What message is General Hospital trying to send? I get that many abused women protect their attackers, but Kristina thinking that she deserved to be hit and Kiefer dying is her fault is going a little bit over the top for my taste.

I'm not even going to comment on Liz's scenes today because to me they are a waste of air-time. I'm sorry but I refuse to believe that Liz went crazy because she was cheating on Lucky. And now they are dragging out the "oh whoa is me" routine with her in the hopes of redeeming her. Well she won't and can't be redeemed in my eyes, at least not this way.

What do you think of Lulu's conversation with Luke? Was she out of line? Is Kristina's emotions and feelings a true portrayal of what abuse victims go through? What are your thoughts on Liz, redeemable or not?

Love and Hate

I thought I'd change it up a bit and simply do lists of what I'm loving and hating about General Hospital lately.

LOVE:

1. The Kristina/Kiefer story. Unfortunately, in this day and age the story of a young teenage girl being physically abused by her boyfriend happens more often than not. I applaud GH for telling the story and how it's affecting so much of the cast. From the two main players Kristina and Kiefer to their parents, Kristina's siblings, the Spencers and everyone in between, all are nailing every single one of their scenes and are doing a great job telling this heartbreaking story. I'm looking forward to watching Kristina deal with all of her emotions. TIIC have done a great job so far, I just hope they don't drop the ball.

2. Alexis Davis and Sonny Corinthos. Both mother and father are absolutely heartbroken and grief stricken over what has been happening to their daughter. From Sonny putting a gun to the back of Ethan's head and his confrontations with Luke, Sonny is acting every bit the mob father that he is. Alexis on the other hand when she told Luke she would go "Cassadine" on him was priceless! Both Alexis and Sonny in my book are acting exactly how they should in terms of the characters themselves.

3. Sonny's trial for killing Claudia. Even though I know that Sonny is never going to be convicted, especially since he didn't even commit this crime, I am truly enjoying how the trial is playing out thus far. From Coleman being caught with Kate at the hotel to Maxie and Diane putting Claire in her place, the trial is actually pretty exciting compared to any trial Jason has ever been on.

4. JaSam. I never thought I could ever get behind the pairing again after the total dismantling of them a few years ago, but there is something very different about them this time around - Jason actually treats Sam as an equal and seems to respect her more this time around. I love the sweet moments between the two and even enjoy when they disagree sometimes. Not that I ever want to see them really fight, it was nice to see them in disagreement over the Kristina situation because it shows them as real and not just all fluff. Can't wait to see where they go from here.

5. Ducky. I don't even know if they have a real name yet, but I love Dante and Lucky being partners on the PCPD. They seem to gel really well and they do a great good cop/bad cop routine. I like how they feed off each other and hope they continue to build a friendship. I would love to see what happens if Dante ever accepts Sonny as his father and starts to be a corrupt cop.

6. The fact the Quartemaines are starting to get more airtime, the return of Skye and the introduction of Maya Ward - enough said.

HATE:
1. The whole Liz/Nik/Lucky storyline. I was enjoying the storyline in the beginning when Lucky told Liz all the things I've been screaming at my TV about her for years, but now it's just a snoozefest. Liz loves Lucky (or so she says), Nik loves Liz and Lucky wants nothing to do with either of them. Oh and having Liz have yet another WTD s/l is just B-O-R-I-N-G!

2. Lisa Niles and Scrubs. Scrubs is having plenty of angst on their own over Robin's support of Sonny, they don't need Lisa involved at all. Let Lisa hook up with Steve or hey, here's a suggestion - how about Matt?!?!?!? When was the last time we actually saw Matt? Why would TPTB put Matt on the opening credits when he's never on screen?

3. SpiXie. I am so over them. I've been over them since their non-wedding. Well actually, I let go of them once Maxie slept with Franco. Not that I want to hear the name Franco spoken on GH anytime soon, but seeing just that ounce of chemistry between Maxie and Franco made me long for the old Maxie - the Maxie that should be paired with Johnny. I just want my JoMax!!!!

4. Claire Walsh. I really could do without her. No other explanation. I just loathe her.

5. Jax. When he's on screen I just want to scream "HYPOCRITE."

That's pretty much my list of love and hate. What's yours?

When will the healing truly begin?

Ironically, the person she's know for the least amount is the one person Kristina finally felt comfortable enough to admit the truth to - Dante.

I get that she feels comfortable with him, she did even before she knew he was her brother, but I really thought Kristina would open up to Sam before anyone else. Sam has been the one person Kristina has opened up to in the past. Regardless of who the person was, I'm just really glad that Kristina finally cleared Ethan and admitted that it's been Kiefer all along.

Another thing I'm absolutely thrilled about is that Kristina told Molly the truth about what's been going on even telling her the excuses she's made for Ethan in the past. Maybe the two young girls will bond a real sisterly-friendship and support each other through the rest of this. You may ask why I think Molly needs support, well, the young girl is absolutely a romantic and looked up to Kiefer and his relationship with Kristina. She has defended him almost as much as Kristina.

As Kristina spelled out all the ugly details of her attacks, Alexis and Sonny listened with fallen hearts and tears falling from their eyes. What would you do if you were a parent and you were listening to your teenage daughter explain how her boyfriend hit her on more than one occasion? I was pleasantly surprised that Sonny didn't start screaming the minute he realized that it was Kiefer abusing his daughter and when he was talking with Jason how he was thankful he didn't have his oldest friend's son killed.

I really wanted to hit the pompous Mr. Bauer in the mouth for the way he manhandled Lucky in the cubicle where Kiefer was pretty much flat-lining. if the jackass had at least waited five more seconds he would of heard that Lucky was trying to find out who ran his son down in the middle of the road and not questioning him about what happened with Kristina. The worst part is there are more of the Bauers in real life, you know the ones that feel entitled because of their money or last name, than there are Sonnys or Jasons- mobsters.

This is the reason that I defend Sonny and Jason. They fight to protect what is theirs and those they love, yet they are ridiculed on a daily basis because of their professions. I know they kill people but they are mobsters, they aren't supposed to be innocent.

You just know that when the Bauers realize that it was Alexis that hit Kiefer they are going to try and say Kristina lied about Kiefer hitting her because she's trying to save her mother from manslaughter or some other charge the Bauers will come up with. Granted it really wasn't an accident when Alexis hit Kiefer with her car, but it wasn't premeditated. What's going to be worse for Kristina at this point - dealing with the physical and emotional abuse she's been dealing with for months at the hands of Kiefer, watching her father stand trial for a murder he didn't commit or seeing her mother brought up on charges for accidentally killing her abusive teenage boyfriend? Either way the girl is going to literally be scarred for life.

I hope I wasn't the only one cheering when Steven Webber pronounced Kiefer dead. I was thrilled! Literally, utterly and most definitely thrilled. I have to admit that Christian Alexander did a phenomenal job as Kiefer since the minute he showed up on GH. Kiefer was a character that I absolutely loved to hate. To me there is a difference in hating a character and loving to hate a character. Hating a character to me means that the character offers nothing to the story or the show. Claire Walsh and Lisa Niles are prime examples of characters that I simply hate.

On the other hand; Faith, Kiefer and even Claudia are/were characters that I loved to hate. Their characters actually added to the show and the actresses/actors that played them were phenomenal in the roles. Now Dahlia Salem or whatever her name is, is a good actress, but to me Claire is just someone I want to slap on a daily basis.

Okay, enough of my rant. What did you think of today's show? Kiefer's death? How do you think Kristina will react to the news that it was her own mother that killed Kiefer?

The Ultimate Price

Kristina had been lying for weeks covering up the fact that her boyfriend Kiefer had beaten her up and put her in the hospital. Not only had Kristina covered for Kiefer, she also named Ethan as her attacker nearly spouting family wars in the process.

Alexis went at Luke telling him she would go "Cassadine" on him if he tried to pressure Kristina again, Sam and Jason have been arguing about Sam's history and Kristina's story and then of course there's Sonny and Luke, old-time friends, basically threatening each other because of their kids.

Finally, after too much time had passed and one too many people had accused Ethan, Kristina had no choice but to tell the truth when Alexis arrived home after Kiefer had beaten Kristina, again. Alexis arrived just in time to see Kiefer running out of the Lake House and Kristina laying on the floor unconscious.
Frantically, Alexis tried to wake up her daughter and ironically saw Kiefer again as she was driving Kristina to the hospital. This is the part where I was nearly cheering and screaming at the TV. I literally wanted Alexis to back up and driver over the SOB as he lay lifeless on the side of the road.

The punk got exactly what he deserved. Alexis hitting him with her car as she drove a bloodied Kristina to the hospital was exactly the way it should have happened. If Sonny or Jason had put a bullet between Kiefer's eyes viewers would be screaming about the mob. With Alexis mowing him down like a wild animal in the middle of the street, it's about a grief-stricken mother trying to protect her daughter and seeing how emotional Alexis was throughout this whole s/l really made me love NLG even more.

Once again, each and every single character involved in this story arc was phenomenal! The actors were at the top of their games and many of them deserve Emmies for their performances!

Can't wait to see how this all plays out. At least now everyone will know that Ethan never hit Kristina.

The protection continues, but not everyone's buying it

Kristina is sticking to her story that it was Ethan that attacked her, but does everyone really believe her?

Ethan is adamantly telling anyone who will listen that yes he grabbed her arm and yes she scratched his face but he is not the one who put her in the hospital.

I really enjoy the scenes with Kristina and Sam and how Sam keeps reinforcing the fact that Kristina is not to blame for what happened and that Kristina can not protect her attacker. Sam feels responsible for what happened to Kristina because she left her alone at the Lake House to confront Ethan; a point that Jason picked up on right away.

I couldn't believe the nerve the punk Kiefer had to actually enter Kristina's room after Sam had left. Maybe if Kiefer went in when Sam was there, Sam might actually be able to see how frightened Kristina is of him. Ironically, Kristina didn't seem frightened near Ethan when she was first brought into the hospital.

Kiefer tried to say that it didn't feel like it was him that attacked Kristina and that he just lost control. All he kept saying was "I swear to God." Unfortunately, Kristina forgave Kiefer the first time he hit her, so for some reason she thinks it's her fault. She actually apologized to him for lying to him. That was a WTF moment for me because no matter what Kristina did, she didn't deserve to have Kiefer raise his fists and hit her the way he did! Kristina knows that her father is out for revenge and told Kiefer she didn't want him to die. Again, I get that she's scared, but why does she insist on protecting him? And if she doesn't want Kiefer, the boy who beat her up, to die; why would she want Ethan, the boy who rejected her, to die? Does she feel getting rejected is worse than getting beat up?

Again their whole scene made me want to jump through my TV screen and strangle Kiefer. And as much as I hate Kiefer; I still have to admit that Christian is doing a phenomenal job in the acting department, along with Lexi. Definite kudos to the youngsters.

I don't know what was worse, listening to Kiefer telling Kristina they can get past it and forget it ever happened, Kristina telling Alexis that it never would have happened if she hadn't lied or actually seeing Kiefer's pompous parents on screen.

The way Mr. and Mrs. Bauer spoke about Kristina and her "unfortunate" family made me want to bitch slap them almost as much as Kiefer. No wonder the punk feels entitled to do whatever he wants to whomever he wants. Watching Kiefer sitting there, acting all innocent made me want to smack the smug look off his face. I certainly hope that Lucky is able to put together the proper timeline and save his half-brother from the lies.

Oh, and why was I NOT surprised that Mayor Floyd pulled strings to help the Bauers from talking to the PCPD, therefore protecting Kiefer.

For once, I actually wasn't upset with Jason interfering when he went to go see Kristina. He went to see her because his girlfriend, Sam, the woman he loves is beating herself up inside for not being able to protect her sister. Jason is actually showing Sam the support that she always gives him.

I also like how Jason pointed out to Kristina that Ethan couldn't possibly be in two places at once. I know that Jason not believing that it was Ethan who put Kristina in the hospital is going to cause a rift between JaSam, but Sam really isn't seeing all the signs because she feels responsible and she's hurting for Kristina. Usually, it's Sam that's the one that's clear and level headed helping Jason see things the right way; this time it's Jason. I don't think it's going to cause JaSam to break up or anything, and it's actually going to be nice to see JaSam actually disagree on something. It will show that they have a normal relationship and that not everything is perfect in their world.

I hope that Jason and/or Lucky will be able to prove that it wasn't Ethan and in fact it was Kiefer that put Kristina in the hospital. Maybe, just maybe, Sam will stop beating herself up for something that was out of her control and Alexis and Molly will stop treating Kiefer like he's a god of sorts.

**On another side note of the episode, it was great to see Lulu not forgiving Nikolas for what happened with Elizabeth so quickly and for Lulu sticking to her guns about Liz being a liar. Lulu used to be Liz's biggest supporter and for once, Lulu is seeing Liz for who she really is. I have to admit it was nice to see not being so snarky to Nikolas when he showed up to bring her to the hospital. Maybe she's finally realizing that Nik is not the only one to blame for their affair; she had a hand in it as well.

**Anyone else find it really random to have the episode pretty much revolve around Kristina's and Liz's story lines and out of the blue insert a scene with Clair, Carly, Livs and Jax? It was kind of like, ummm, where is this coming from? Yes, I know that Sonny's trial is coming up, but they could have saved that scene for another day or actually added more scenes to reinforce the Sonny trial story line, not just the one as if to say "Don't forget we have this going on too."

The Aftermath, Good and Bad

In the aftermath of Kristina getting beat up by her boyfriend Kiefer, the viewers were actually, well treated seems like the wrong word to use, but treated to some fantastic acting and wonderful scenes between family and friends, who are soon to be enemies.

Upon hearing the news that Ethan was the one who attacked Kristina, Sonny went full on mob mode. Not only did he go straight to the Haunted Star, but the mobster father figure put a gun to Ethan's back telling him he was a dead man. If not for Dante and Lucky showing up, Ethan might just have taken a bullet right then and there.

Before everyone gets up in arms about Sonny's reaction, I implore all to remember that Sonny is a father of one daughter and a mob boss. In character, Sonny did exactly what any mob boss would have done. As Kristina talked to Alexis in her hospital room about what she supposedly did wrong, Sonny was trying to make it right the only way he knows how - shoot first, ask questions later.

As Dante and Lucky begged Sonny to not pull the trigger, Sonny told his new found son to act like a brother instead of a cop and go see his sister. I was pleasantly surprised when Dante did just that. It was nice to see the conversation between the siblings, especially when Dante told Kristina she was still beautiful on the inside and what she looked like on the outside was just the ugly reminder of what had happened to her.

But one of the most heart wrenching moments was when Sonny returned to Kristina's room and talked about how much she looked like Adela. Say what you want about Sonny or even Maurice, the man brings it when it comes to the emotional stuff.

Listening to Sonny talk to Kristina and seeing Dante listening from the hall, brought tears to my eyes, literally. Sonny is a lot of things, but one thing is for sure, he loves his children, all of them, deeply and truly. Sonny is not perfect, but he tries his best to keep his kids safe and do right by them. He may not always make the best decisions, but Sonny tries to do the right thing.

As much as I love Sonny, I have to applaud Jason and the writers for bringing up Sonny and Luke's friendship in regards to Ethan. While Sonny usually always acts before he thinks, Jason is the one who actually thinks too much, sometimes he's right and sometimes he's wrong, but in this case; Jason was absolutely right in stopping Sonny from putting the hit on Ethan.

Ethan is actually innocent and Sonny has no idea. All his knows is that his daughter named Ethan as her attacker and Sonny is going to believe every word that comes out of his mouth because he has no reason to not believe her.

I'm very curious to see what Sonny's reaction is going to be when he finds out the truth. I personally have never been in an abusive relationship, but I really don't understand how Kristina can protect Kiefer. How can a young 16-year-old girl lay in her hospital bed and lie to all the people that love her to protect the boy that obviously doesn't love her.

I hope when all is said and done, Ethan gets the vindication that he deserves. Ethan, like Luke and Sonny, is not perfect, but he doesn't deserve to have the whole town thinking he beats women because Kristina is either to scared or delusional to admit it was her boyfriend that attacked her.

Speaking of Kiefer, first I really could have done without seeing the flashback Kristina had. It was hard enough seeing it the first time, but to have to see it again and again in slow motion was really painful. And what gave the punk, yes Kiefer, the right to think he could show up at the Lake House making up an excuse to see Kristina.

The way he was talking to Molly, I wanted to put my hands through my TV screen and strangle the punk. I keep calling him a punk, because, well I don't want to use the language I really want to use here on my blog. I just hope someone teaches Kiefer a lesson when all is said and done.

I also want to applaud Sam for coming clean with Alexis about what's been going on with Kristina in the past months. I may not agree with the timing of the conversation, but I'm glad that Sam opened up to Alexis even though Kristina obviously thought she couldn't.

Oh and on a side note, I absolutely love Helena! She's so blatantly devilish! I loved when she told the lab tech that she and Nikolas were going to raise the new Spencer baby to be as a Cassadine. I really didn't want the baby to be Lucky's because I don't want him to have even more ties to Liz, but I guess there's no changing it now. Ironically, I always wanted Jake to be Lucky's instead of Jason's and now I wish the baby to be would be Nik's instead of Lucky's. UGH, guess we have more LnL2 coming our way some where down the line.

Battered and Bruised Does Not Mean Love

Kristina started her night off excited about spending what she thought would be quality time with Ethan. She convinced her sister, Molly, to hack into Ethan's e-mail to prevent him from going on his date with Jennifer.

Kristina didn't get what she was hoping for though when she showed up at the Haunted Star. Not only did Ethan tell Kristina he wasn't interested in her; he also called her a spoiled brat and grabbed her arm to the point of bruising it.

That's not even the worst part, basically up until she got home with her sister Sam, Kristina's ego was the most bruised part of her body, well, until Kiefer showed up that is.

Kiefer claimed he was humiliated by Kristina's actions and thought she and Ethan were laughing at his expense. Kiefer didn't just scream though, he raised his fists and more than once.

Adding to the drama, the scenes were shown in slow motion.

Battered, bruised and frightened, Kristina lay curled up on her floor as Kiefer screamed it was her fault that he hit her in the first place; she made him so mad he hit her and it was her fault.

After getting a good talking to by Sam, Ethan actually felt bad about the way he had treated Kristina and went to the Lake House to apologize to the young girl. Ethan couldn't believe what he found when he arrived.

Kristina, thinking Kiefer came back to hurt her some more, lashed out at Ethan and literally clawed his face. Ethan looked genuinely scared for Kristina and carried her out of the house in his arms and brought her to the hospital. Ethan looked scared as he waited outside the curtains when Patrick asked him what happened. Obviously Ethan had no idea what had happened to Kristina but due to the nice gash on the side of his cheek, Ethan looked like the guilty party.

What I didn't understand about what transpired next was that Patrick called Sonny and not Alexis and it was Epiphany that called Alexis. Patrick should know Kristina and Sonny's relationship is rocky at best. I did however like how the writers tied in Sonny feeling that Dante was looking at him like Deke and remembering what his mother went through when Deke used to beat her.
Even if I hadn't read the spoilers, I wasn't surprised that Kristina named Ethan as her attacker instead of telling the truth. In most cases of domestic abuse, the woman more often than not blames herself for the beatings and protects the one that's actually hurting her.

Kristina is no different - she is protecting Kiefer; the boy who is actually hurting her.

When Lucky, Alexis and Sonny all asked her who did that to her, Kristina said "Ethan." This story line is only going to get better. What I think is the most important part about this story line is they are in fact using the teens on the show and not the adults. This story arc is something mothers and daughters should watch together. Even fathers and sons - it really is an important lesson to be learned. Women do not have to be afraid to tell the truth about who's hurting them and men do not have to raise their fists whenever they get angry.

There is help for both, but the first most important step is to realize it's not your fault and you can prevent it from happening again. One thing is for sure, Lexi and Christian did a phenomenal job with the scenes, I was just as scared as Kristina was as I watched it all unfold.

Kate returns, Maxie's not healthy, Claire's a hypocrite and Lante still hasn't, well you know

Finally after months of only hearing her name and one-sided conversations with people on the phone with her, Kate returns to Port Charles!

It was refreshing to see the fashionista back at Crimson all fired up like she usually is. Within seconds of her being on screen, Kate literally threatened the jobs of Lulu and Maxie since neither were at the Crimson office.

Lulu who was with Dante dropped everything to go running to the office but as Kate pointed out, she had only given Lulu five minutes and it was at least a half hour. Kate always makes me laugh when she gets all "Devil wears Prada" with Lulu and Maxie.

Unfortunately for Maxie she was in the hospital recovering from hypothermia and didn't listen to Robin or anyone and checked herself out in order to save her career. I honestly don't understand why Maxie didn't tell Lulu or Kate where she was, but I guess that would be so the writers can have Maxie get worse instead of getting better.

I am pleasantly surprised that through the years the writers have never dropped the ball with Maxie's heart transplant story. I mean when BJ died and Maxie was giver her heart, that was one of the most powerful story lines in GH history.

I guess another great part of this up coming story line with Maxie is that Georgie's ghost visits with her and helps her make decisions and to help her fight for her life. Gee, maybe if TIIC stopped killing off the great characters they wouldn't have to think of new ways to bring them back to Port Charles.

I know she hasn't been on very long, but Federal Prosecutor Claire Walsh is really a character that I would love to see get caught in the cross fire or even simply hit by a bus. I can not stand the woman.

She's a hypocrite at best. When she spouted the line that she doesn't intimidate witnesses, that's a mob tactic I literally was LOL. I mean what does she think she's been doing since she arrived in Port Charles?

Between Dante, Jason, Diane, Alexis, Carly and even Sonny, all Claire Walsh has done is gone after the people directly involved with this story line and tried to throw her weight around as a Federal Prosecutor, if that's not trying to intimidate, I must be missing something.

There's a lot of chatter all over the web that there will be a Sonny/Claire pairing after all is said and done and this Sonny fan wants no part of that! I say bring back Vanessa Marcil to reprise her role as Brenda and have Sonny live his life with his true soulmate!

Speaking of soulmates, while they aren't quite there yet, there is something very special about Lulu and Dante.

The poor couple has tried so many times to consummate their relationship but they always get interrupted; Friday was no exception. Kate called Lulu and this time it wasn't from Paris, it was from the Crimson office.

I just hope when they finally do get to do the deed that it's not a big let down. I hope TPTB give the viewers something really romantic and special. Both the viewers and Lante deserve that much.

When Love Hurts

Even though it's just the beginning, Friday's cliffhanger of Kristina and Kiefer was extremely powerful.

Kiefer has always been an angry jerk, but when he was outside the house and heard Sam ask Kristina about Ethan the boy literally lost his mind.

Both Christian Alexander and Lexi Ainsworth literally knocked their scenes out of the park. The fear in Kristina's eyes and the anger in Kiefer's really resonated onto the screen.

While the story is going to be completely degrading to the character of Kristina; I think it really needs to be told because unfortunately it happens on a daily basis in real life.

The worst part is, we know what happened on Friday's episode is just the beginning. It's only going to get worse, meaning the slap is not the only thing Kiefer is going to do to Kristina. And some how, Kristina will think it's her fault and protect her abuser.

Yes Kristina blew Kiefer off to go chasing after Ethan, but that does not give Kiefer a free pass to hurt her physically.

I really wish Kristina would listen to Sam when she tells her it's never okay for any guy to touch her physically like that. When Kristina told Sam about the bruise on her arm and how she got it, Sam was kind, sweet and sensitive with her sister. Regardless of what some viewers think about Sam, she really is an outstanding big sister.

I'm curious to see how this story plays out. If you are spoiler free: Please don't read the next paragraph.

We all know that Kiefer beats Kristina up completely, not like the time he gave her the fat lip and not anything that make-up will cover and since Kristina already told Sam that Ethan grabbed her arm and when Ethan did that it was at the Haunted Star. We also know that Kristina is going to tell everyone that Ethan is the one that beat her up instead of telling the truth about Kiefer. We also know that Sonny is not going to be happy when he finds out his daughter is a victim of abuse; especially given the fact his mother was also a victim of abuse.

I have a feeling that all the players involved with this story line and the actors that portray them are going to do outstanding work and tell an amazing story; as long as the writers don't drop the ball.

A touch of history, a fantabulous friendship, a non-couple that should be and so much more

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw JaSam wearing white! I almost died; I mean they are always, always wearing black!

But more than just wearing white; they were happy. They were smiling, laughing and even flirting with each other! I loved every single minute of it!

One thing that really made me love the JaSam scenes today was when Jason told Sam it reminded him of Hawaii and Hawaii reminded him of her, as their song played in the background. It was such a sweet, romantic scene. Too bad Michael had to ruin it by trying to leave the island. I hope Sam gets her wish and they return to the island for themselves some day- and soon!

I love Diane and Alexis's friendship, the two powerful women just feed off each other and I really wish they could get their own sitcom!

What I found great about their scenes today was the fact they were practically finishing each other's sentences when Claire Walsh showed up and they how they did Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide who would be the one to fire Iris; that was simply priceless.

I loved how Molly showed up at the office to talk to Diane and Diane made the comment that she was discussing a capital crime with a child. I just hope when Molly gets older and starts to have problems of her own that everyone she tries to help and protect returns the favor!

Why do TIIC have to keep teasing us with JoMax? Seeing Johnny carry Maxie into the hospital warmed my JoMax heart and longed for the pairing even more! Even with Johnny simply carrying her showed what chemistry the two have.

Can't TIIC see what a gold mine they have with this pairing? I'm sorry but SpiXie has run its course. I used to find Spinelli endearing when he first arrived in Port Charles and even during the beginning of his relationship with Maxie; but now they are B-O-R-I-N-G!

Seeing yet another daydream from "The Jackal" made me want to gag. It's tired and over done; can we please move on. Not too mention that it's getting really old that Spin thinks he needs to be dangerous in order for Maxie to see him as a hero.

That kind of thinking and insecurity should, well, doom any couple; yet SpiXie just keeps on going.

SpiXie used to be really sweet to watch they way they opened up to each other and seeing Maxie become a more mature woman. But now I really miss the old Maxie, I want the scheming Maxie back; I want the Maxie that supplied drugs to Lucky to keep him sleeping with her.

I have a feeling that Maxie could be herself with Johnny and Johnny wouldn't have to worry about not being himself around her. They are a gold mine - please, please, please let me have my JoMax!!

Okay, so first we had Lisa checking out Patrick when he was half naked in the locker room and now it's Patrick's turn and worse yet; he felt the need to explain that it didn't mean anything to him.

Hmm, if it didn't mean anything then why did he have a small flashback when he first saw her and why did he seek her out to tell her it didn't mean anything. Sorry but when you protest that much; you're guilty.

I just don't have a good feeling about Scrubs right now. They are fighting constantly. Robin has spied on Patrick feeding Lisa shots as she laid across the bar at Jake's and even saw him basically drooling Lisa as she stood in her skivvies without ever considering putting her clothes on. I mean com'on her shirt was in her hand as she and Patrick looked at the chart.

Not only is Lisa blatantly obvious; so are the writers. Why does being happy mean eventually you will have to go through angst? Why can't a couple be happy and stay happy? There are plenty of other story lines the writers can give Scrubs to keep them interesting; but that's just my opinion.

Claire Walsh is walking a thin line

Since she arrived in Port Charles, Claire Walsh has been a character I want to bitch slap about as much as Liz.
She's condescending to say the least and where in the world did she get off going to Jason's house and harassing him like that? Couldn't that be considered witness tampering or something?

And what's up with hair?? She looked like one of two things; either she
just had sex and didn't bother to brush the rats nest on top of her head; or she
woke up and didn't bother to brush the rats nest out of hair.

I guess we found out that neither Johnny nor Lucky shot each other; so I guess staying tuned paid off LOL.

CarJax was kind of cute today when Jax was feeding Carly the chocolate; but of course he reverted back to his "I hate Sonny" routine. I'm still waiting for Carly to throw the fact Jax has covered many times for Jerry in his face.

What I don't get is the about face the writers have done to Jax over the past couple of years. Jax would not leave Brenda and humiliate her on their wedding day for kissing Sonny; yet forgive Carly for sleeping with Sonny - TWICE. But, for Jax it's all about beating Sonny some how.

Kristina acts like a brat, Sonny defends himself - again; and a daily rant about Liz

Okay, I get that Kristina is feeling confused about her father and discovering that her father is not perfect; but Sonny has never claimed to be perfect and honestly, the reason Sonny and Kristina don't really know each other is because of Alexis.

Alexis first lied about Sonny' being Kristina's father and when the truth came out; Alexis did everything in her power to keep Sonny away from his daughter. It's not like Sonny didn't want to spend time with Kristina, he fought Alexis all the time. But unfortunately, Kristina doesn't see that and she's only recently gotten to know her father and well, we all know that she was shocked to hear her father go off on Claudia the way he did.

Kristina was being down right rude to Sonny and I was glad to hear him tell her basically that he's her father speak to him with respect. I really wanted to see Sonny slap the punk Kiefer. I can only imagine what he's going to do when he finds out Kiefer has been hitting his only daughter.

I couldn't believe how jealous Kristina got when Ethan came in with that bimbo from Bernie's office. I kind of liked her crush on him and that he was kind of protective of her; but he is way too old for her. The fact she tried to blame Sam for Ethan telling her she was too young was well a bit too much for me.

I don't understand all these people that are suddenly treating Sonny like he's some sort of monster.

Hello, he's a freaking mob boss! He's supposed to eliminate threats to him, his family and his business.

I get that people are upset that he shot Dante, I really do understand why people would be upset; but again; he's a mob boss did you really expect him to say, "Okay Detective, take me into custody." Yeah, like that would ever happen. I seem to remember nearly millions of conversations that Olivia had with more than one person that she thought her "kid could get killed" being on the case. No offense people, but Sonny is right; all of this could have been avoided if someone, anyone told him the truth about Dominic being Dante and being his son.

Where does Patrick get off going to Sonny's house and telling him off? I was proud of Sonny for the way he stood up for himself. The worst part is, Patrick has always liked Sonny and now because the writers want to give Scrubs angst; as usual the writers can't throw a curve ball at one character or couple without destroying someone else or another couple in the process.

Okay and now for my daily rant about the horrendous story line involving Lucky/Liz/Nik.

First of all, she calls Lucky and Nik to Shadybrook separately to tell them she doesn't want them at the hospital; what exactly was the point of that? Umm, there was no point except to try and convince the viewers that Liz is still too fragile to deal with anything controversial. I don't think so.

When Robin told Liz the reason she ended up in Shadybrook is because she wasn't taking care of herself. Are you freaking kidding me? Not taking care of herself? I seem to remember Nik taking pretty good care of her in the bedroom, rather on the couch. In fact didn't Liz tell Nik or Robin that she's never felt that good sexually with any other guy? If that's not taking care of yourself, I don't know what is!

And for one final note on Wednesday's episode: The final scene, yet another shootout; so original.

So, who shot who? Did Johnny shoot Lucky? Did Lucky shoot Johnny? Stay tuned we might actually see someone NOT get shot on General Hospital!

Carly takes action, Kristina forgives her abuser and feisty Liz is back

I used to love CarJax, I mean I really loved CarJax. I loved that Jax made Carly a more mature woman. Then Jax as usual decided Sonny needed to pay; no matter who he hurt in the process. So I began to hate CarJax, well I'm back to loving them again, together, because Jax alone I loathe.

When Carly cleared the floor I thought for sure she was going to start throwing things at Jax, I had no idea she was going to literally rip his clothes off. When she looked at him when all was said and done and said "I just wanted to remind you what you're missing." Well, she literally reminded me as well. IR and LW have amazing chemistry. They play off each other well and bring out the best in each other. I don't really care for Jax, actually I hate him, when he's going after Sonny. But when he's with Carly, I adore him.

When Molly came running out of Kristina's room with the cell phone Keifer gave her, I literally was laughing. Molly is such a breath of fresh air on this violence filled show.

Molly teased her big sister as she quoted Keifer's text messages. As much as I love Molly, listening to her recite the text messages made me realize even more how controlling Keifer is. I mean I already knew he was an abusive punk, but to send her a message that says "I thought I meant something to you," after he's the one that's hurt her is really, well, out of line.

I was proud of Kristina at first when Keifer showed up until she told him they both hurt each other and that she believed in him. Kristina doesn't care for her father too much because of the violence in his life, yet she is allowing her boyfriend to physically abuse her. Doesn't make much sense now does it?

It looks like feisty Liz is back. That was quick. Okay, so here is my rant about Elizabeth Webber. What exactly is she doing in Shadybrook in the first place?

She's not crazy, she got caught cheating and felt guilty about it. Yeah so she went on the roof of GH; do we really believe she was going to hurt herself and leave her boys without a mother, umm, yeah I don't think so. It's another ploy to make us the viewers sympathize with poor little Elizabeth. I ain't buying it.

I don't get why the writers have to make her look so good. Why is it necessary to give her a so-called "breakdown" story line? Oh, I know because if they have her simply get caught and actually pay for or own her decisions then she would be just like Carly, Maxie and Sam. Obviously the halo the writers have Liz wearing isn't ready to be tarnished just yet.

One last thought, the skank named Lisa really needs to get the heck out of Port Charles. She's not a friend to neither Patrick nor Robin. All she is trying to do is make Patrick want his old life back; that much was obvious when the skank said to Coleman that whenever Robin was around Patrick turned dull and domesticated.

The ONLY good parts about the skank yesterday was that we got us some Coleman! And of course, Scrubs talked about their fight, kissed and made up. Looks like Lisa is going to try and think of some other way to get Patrick.

Today marked yet another victory for the PC mob boss. When Carly burst into the court room telling the judge that Jax was the cause of this and whatnot, I thought for sure the Judge was going to hold her in contempt of court, but of course not - in Port Charles, the crazies rule the asylum not the sane ones.
Don't get me wrong, I love Carly and have always loved her unconditional support of Sonny; but sometimes she really has no clue as to what the consequences could possibly of her actions.

Diane was right, Carly showed how biased she is when it comes to Sonny and I'm sure Claire Walsh will use that to the best of her ability.

I loved what Sonny said about his children because he does try to be a good father. I loved that when he spoke about Kristina he looked at Alexis. It was a heartfelt moment and didn't feel rehearsed like most speeches in court do. Sonny spoke from the heart and he had me convinced!

I'm curious as to what lie Carly and Sam plan on telling to convince the judge and jury that Sonny did not kill Claudia. I'm also curious as to how well Diane and Alexis will work together; they have a great friendship but the way they practice law is completely different.

Though I'm still having a hard time stomaching the Jason/Lucky friendship and/or mutual respect for each other, I loved Lucky's honesty about the kids.

When Lucky went to Liz and told her they had no future I was ecstatic! Even though I don't think it will be that long before Lucky saves her again, falls back in love with her and they get back together. I have a knot in the pit of my stomach that tells me Lucky and Liz will keep repeating the pattern of cheating, betrayal and forgiving - and no I don't think Lucky has been innocent in the past. I honestly thought Liz and Nik would get together and Lucky would be free.

I was pleasantly surprised when Lucky told Luke that he would look into Carlos' arrest and see if there was a loop hole of sorts so Luke could continue to get his cigars. Lucky, since becoming a cop, would normally never consider anything like that.

I have to say as much as I dislike the character of Liz; I've come to realize I hate Lisa even more than I hate Liz. I didn't think that was possible.

When she told Patrick and Coleman that her bra was too tight I think I literally threw up in my mouth. Then to top it off watching the way she bent over backwards over the bar was even worse. She's so obvious I can't believe that Robin and Patrick have not seen through her act yet. She is trying so hard to drive a wedge between Scrubs by trying to make Patrick miss his single days. I really hope someone puts the skank in her place before it's too late for Scrubs. The ONLY good thing about Patrick and Lisa being at Jake's is that we finally got to see Coleman!!!

Now that Alexis has agreed to join Diane's law firm; I really would love for these two to get a great story line separate from just the mob.

Heck, I would love for these two to get their own show; it can be a night time spin-off like Night Shift. These two women have so much on-air chemistry; they deserve their own sitcom!

As far as the Lucky/Liz/Nik story line, I would love for Liz to end up with Nikolas when all is said and done. I'm pretty much over the Lucky and Liz pairing. I'm over Lucky being the father to other men's babies; products of Liz's one-night stands. I'm over Liz feeling love for someone other than Lucky (Jason or Nik) but claiming Lucky is her life.

IMO, Lik or Niz, have extreme chemistry; which I haven't seen from Elizabeth or Nikolas in a very long time. They feed off each other and have the passion both characters have been missing for years. (Sorry to the Liason/Nem fans, I never thought either pairing had ANY chemistry what-so-ever).

I would love for Nikolas to be the father of Liz's baby; that would create so many s/ls for both characters for many years. I mean Helena is Nik's grandmother and foaming at the mouth for a proper heir!

JaSam: I honestly don't want them to get married, at least not yet. What I do want for the pairing is for Sam to regain her independence. I would love for Sam and Spinelli to be working on a case and for Jason to offer his help; not always Sam offering to help Jason.

I would love for Sam to find out she's pregnant and for Jason to NOT freak out about it. I think Jason can be a good father and will definitely do his best to protect his child with Sam.

I don't think it would be a slap in the face to Liason fans because it was Liz that asked Jason to give up his son because of the danger. Sam wouldn't ask Jason to give up his child because she understands the danger of his lifestyle and actually thrives in it.

For Sonny and Dante, I would like for the two of them to eventually become civil; meaning Dante to not necessarily forgive Sonny, but understand him a little bit better and not hate him.

I think when and if Dante finds out the truth about how Claudia really died will help mend the fence between the newly found father and son duo.

I'm not saying I want them to be as close as Michael and Sonny, but to the point where Dante doesn't hate Sonny.

I also want Sonny to let go of some of the guilt he's been feeling all these years about his lifestyle and now it affects his children. The man carries around so much guilt; for those who say he never pays for his actions, he punishes himself for his choices and lifestyle, what more do you want?

I'd like to see Dante and Lulu continue their relationship and possibly get Lulu back to a more adventurous story line; I likes when she went to rescue Luke on Markam Island.

And sorry SpiXie fans, I want them to finally break up and for Maxie to finally be paired with Johnny. I really want my JoMax! Those two, given the opportunity, could totally steam up daytime! Not too mention, I think it would be interesting to see how it affects Maxie's friendship with Lulu and Sam.

There's so much more I would do with GH if I had the opportunity; like bringing back Brenda to be with Sonny; allowing Skye and Jax to reunite; bringing back Lorenzo and having him save Carly from CarJax hell.

What would you do? Who would you bring back? What couples would you reunite if you had the opportunity?

While I didn't exactly agree with Robin going to Dante and telling him her history with him and Stone, I really didn't like the way Patrick reacted to it.

Patrick has known Sonny for a while now and definitely knows the history Robin and Sonny share and now all of a sudden he has a problem with it?

And even if Patrick does have an issue with it; two things were poorly written in my opinion. Patrick literally embarrassed Robin by they way he badgered her out of Dante's room. I don't think Patrick would ever belittle his wife like that in front of other people. Patrick is cocky when it comes to being a surgeon, but he doesn't normally treat his wife like that.

The second issue I have is while I understand why Steve would intercede during the Scrubs fight, he is the Chief of Staff and they were fighting in the middle of the nurses station, but where does Lisa get off inserting herself into the fight?

Wait, I know why she became involved, so she could follow Patrick to Jake's (her own words not mine) and be the supporting ex-girlfriend while trying to drive a deeper wedge between Scrubs.

I can already see the writing on the wall, Robin was at Kelly's with Steve, Patrick was drinking beers with Lisa at Jake's; gee, how many people think Scrubs is going to find themselves leaning more on Steve and Lisa than each other. Patrick has been defending Lisa since she came to Port Charles and Robin and Steve have already formed a friendship beyond employer/employee.

What I don't get is Lisa has been blatantly obvious about her attraction to Patrick since she got to town and some how, some way neither Robin nor Patrick has picked up on it.

The only possible good outcome of Scrubs fighting or splitting up for a little while is maybe we'll actually get to see Jason Cook aka Matt. I mean he is Patrick's brother; he HAS to have an opinion about what's going on.

What do you think is going to happen? A divorce for Scrubs? Adultery by both of them? Nothing it's just a bump in the road and they'll get through it?

First things first, since when would a hospital allow a gunshot victim to have umpteen visitors while their still recovering? Dante's room must have had a revolving door attached to it because everyone and their brother went to his room for one reason or another. Yet, Steve told Robin that she could have caused Dante stress for having a conversation with him. Things that make us go, hmmm ....

Since when would a woman having a mental breakdown act all fragile around one man and snarky around the other? (Thanks Jenny for the reminder). Liz was literally falling apart when Lucky was in her room at Shadybrook and it worked because Lucky told her what she wanted to hear, he "forgave" her. Yet, when Nikolas showed up to see Liz she was downright snarky with him. Yeah, that's a woman who's fragile. Things that make us go, hmmm...

Can someone explain to me exactly how Jax can have one Federal Prosecutor thrown off Sonny's trial and replaced with another. Last time I checked Jax was a corporate raider, not a politician. And while we're on the subject, how exactly was Jax allowed in the court room for Sonny's arraignment? Things that make us go, hmmm ....

Speaking of Sonny's arraignment, I may love both Alexis and Diane, but there is no way a judge would allow all the outbursts caused by the two of them, or allow Sonny to speak out the way he did. Guess TPTB truly believe the viewers are idiots and would never care about the little details. Things that make us go, hmmm ....

Finally, what is up with the hair and wardrobe people on the show??? Tracy, though her jacket was absolutely fabulous, looks like she went to Lucky and Jason's barber instead of going to a salon to have her hair done. God awful! And speaking of hair, what was up with Maxie's horse do at the beginning of the week? It looked like they brushed it back sprayed it and left a mane like a horse's tail and Lulu, well she was channeling Marcia Brady! Normally all three of these women have gorgeous hair, but TPTB totally missed the mark this week with all of them! Things that make us go, hmmm ....

I forget exactly which day, I think it was the Friday before Valentine's Day, but it was an episode filled with a lot of love and angst and then all of sudden out of no where, there was Max and Milo engaged in a shootout with Johnny. No lead in, no aftermath in the epi, just the one scene. Things that make us go, hmmm ....

Speaking of Johnny, he was alone on the pier during the shootout and we're supposed to believe he hijacked the shipment all by himself, with no back up or help? Things that make us go, hmmm ...

And still on Johnny, when he was with Olivia, she was actually wearing a "Snuggie" when she answered the door to her apartment. I get that JoLivia had just finished doing the deed, but you would think that Livs would go change into at least something a little less revealing than a blanket with sleeves when Jason showed up at her place. Things that make us go, hmmm ....

There have been a lot of WTF moments lately on the show. What are some of the things that you've noticed? Think I'm being a bit too critical of the show?

Loving and Supporting Sonny

Okay, quick disclaimer: I absolutely love Sonny Corinthos and Maurice Benard; the man just oozes all sorts of sexy.

One problem I have with Guza, believe me there are many but I digress, is that we the viewers have no idea what on earth it is that Sonny and Jason actually move with their shipments. It can't be drugs because Sonny has always stopped other "families" from moving drugs through his territory. So what it is that SaSon actually does? Jewels? Guns? Other weapons? Counterfeit money? Counterfeit bonds? If anyone has a clue please let me know, lol.

Anyway, on to the topic at hand; Loving and Supporting Sonny.

While Sonny is a mob boss to one of the more powerful families in New York, let alone Port Charles; there is something very sensitive about the man.

Yes, I know he shot Dante point blank but isn't that what any mob boss would do? If Tony Soprano or Michael Corleone found out an under cover cop had infiltrated their organization they would place a hit on them as well. And I truly believe that had Olivia told Sonny and Dante they were father and son, it would have changed Sonny's mind. He would never have shot Dante point blank regardless of what he knows about the organization.

Sonny has only hurt his true enemies and has never deliberately hurt anyone person in his family. The perfect example would be Sonny's half-brother, Ric Lansing. Ric kidnapped Carly when she was still married to Sonny and pregnant with his child, but Sonny would not let Jason kill him no matter how many times the enforcer begged his boss to let him take Ric out. Sonny's explanation was, "He's blood, he's my brother." Sonny may not have liked Ric, he pretty much hated him, but he still wouldn't allow him to be killed by any member of his organization.

Another point is Michael, Sonny's adoptive son. Michael has made it clear that he wants to follow in Sonny's footsteps; but Sonny won't allow it and keeps claiming he wants Michael to have the life he never had.

Even when Sonny married Claudia for the power of the Zacchara organization, he didn't like Claudia all that much but he defended her when Papa Z attacked her verbally and saved her when Papa Z had her strapped to the bomb.

Sonny may not be perfect, but he's a mob boss he isn't supposed to be perfect. He's supposed to be ruthless. In the real world whenever a mob boss is betrayed a hit is placed on that person, regardless if they are family or not. Sonny considers Jason to be his brother and has allowed his hit man enforcer to betray him in the past.

When Sonny was dating Emily, which was all sorts of wrong on so many levels in my opinion, Jason stole the organization right out from under Sonny's nose, yes Sonny placed a hit on Jason, but he called it off at the last second. In the real mob world, Jason would be six-feet under by now for all the times he's betrayed Sonny.

Even Brenda, who I believe is the love of Sonny's life as well as soul mate, would be dead if Sonny wasn't sensitive and the mob boss with a heart of gold. Brenda wore a wire and not only did Sonny not kill her or place a hit on her, he eventually forgave her and the two were even more in love. Same with Carly; she with the help of Roy DiLucca set Sonny up to be arrested by the FBI. Again, not only did Sonny not have her killed, he forgave her and remarried her.

I'm not saying that Sonny is perfect by any means, but he is a mob boss; he's supposed to be bad. Sonny is complicated. He loves and when he loves, he loves deeply and completely. Sonny would do anything to protect any of his children, look at what he's doing for Michael; although I still think everyone would have been better off if they told the truth about Michael killing Claudia from the beginning.

What are your thoughts? Are you a Sonny fan? Do you believe he is complicated and sensitive? Would you rather he go to jail and have the mob story lines go with him?

I honestly don't get what TPTB are doing with the Lucky/Liz/Nik story arc at the moment. When the story first started I was already to buy into the "woman in love with two men" angle, but unfortunately the writers did a complete u-turn and changed everything.

When everything first started happening, around the time of the Carnival, Liz was actually trying to fight her feelings for Nikolas while trying to decide whether or not she should accept Lucky's marriage proposal.

So what does Liz do? She goes to Nik, sleeps with him and then accepts Lucky's proposal to Nik's complete utter shock. Then the two of them, Lik or Niz if you prefer, try and go about their lives; her with Lucky, him with Rebecca; but the chemistry and passion keeps drawing them together and they not only begin a steamy affair, but they actually profess their love for one another.

That was the great part of the story; even though Liz said she didn't want her life to blow up because of their lies and betrayal she was truly falling in love with the Cassadine Prince.

Then Lucky finds out and blasts both of them - that was THE best part. Liz actually got called out for cheating, lying, sleeping with her fiance's brother, etc ...

Oh, but wait, Liz can't be the one that's at fault; Lucky can't be the victim - insert breakdown for Liz and shine the halo. Nik is asking his brother where his compassion is and claiming Liz has suffered enough. Compassion? Lucky is supposed to have compassion for the woman that accepted his marriage proposal even though she was sleeping with his brother? Liz has suffered enough? How exactly has she suffered? It was literally what two days and Liz suffers from hypothermia? Yeah, that's suffering. No one called her out with the exception of Lucky and Lulu; even Sam took the high road and didn't judge Liz for what she did to Lucky; not that Sam's moral compass has always pointed north.

So, Liz finds herself in Shadybrook because what she feels guilty? Are you freaking kidding me? Since when does cheating, lying and everything else equal a breakdown? It's simply because the writers want the viewers to sympathize with Liz.

What bothers me is not just that it seems as though Liz is going to get off scott free as usual; but she told Lucky he has no obligation to her or her unborn child whether he is the father or not! Again, are you freaking kidding me???? Lucky is the ONLY father Cameron and Jake have ever known and NOW Liz tells Lucky he has no obligation to her or her baby?

Not only that, but umm, she was professing her love to Nikolas until Lucky found out, and now she wants nothing to do with him? That means one of two things, she either never loved him and it was purely sexual for her or she's so blinded by her own guilt that she's punishing the man she thought she loved because she lost the man that's always been her savior.

They even have Lucky lying to Liz that he forgives her to help Liz get through her breakdown and Nikolas is professing his love while Liz is acting like he makes her skin crawl; hmmm, isn't that the man she was professing her love to while she was shagging him on a couch in Wyndemere?

Is the big plan to have Lucky actually finally be the father of one of Liz's kids and bring LnL2 back together in the end, or will Nik win the first woman he's loved since he lost Emily?

It seems as though Liz really only wants Lucky now that she's lost him. Is it too late? Will Nik win the heart of the first woman he's loved since he lost Emily? Will LnL2 reunite for the umpteenth time? At this point, I just hope TPTB pick a direction and stick with it.

GH celebrates 12,000th with new credits

There wasn't much more of a celebration in the episode, but the new credits were awesome in my book.

Though I think the opening would be nicer with the "Faces of the Heart music; the visual display itself was a lot nicer than the old version.

I like how they added the actors' real names along with the characters they play. Maybe now fans on message boards will spell the characters names correctly, LOL. I'm just saying it's kind of depressing to see Nikolas spelled incorrectly.

I was a bit surprised that the only other "celebration" was when Alexis told Diane for the "12,000th time" she would not be joining Diane's Law Firm.

I was surprised TPTB didn't add some sort of montage at least at the ending of the episode or having some of the Quartermaines discussing loved ones that have come and gone, anything would have been better than just the passing comment from Alexis.

So what do you think, were the new credits worth the wait? What do you like about them? What would you change?

Skye returns, Maya arrives

It seems as though General Hospital fans are getting their wish - MORE QUARTERMAINES!!!

Fan favorite Robin Christopher reprises the role of Skye on March 31, the same day Annie Ilonzeh debuts as Maya Ward, the niece of Justus Ward.

Last we saw Skye was in 2008 when she left Port Charles with her daughter Lila Rae following the "death" of baby Lila's father, Lorenzo Alcazar.

Question is, who will Skye interact with when she makes her way back to Port Charles?

Will there be a reunion between former spouses Jax and Skye now that his marraige to Carly is falling apart?

Will "Blaze" come between Luke and Tracy? How long before Tracy tries to kick Skye out of Monica's mansion?

With Skye returning one has to wonder what's instore for Maya when she shows up at the Quartermaine Mansion following Edward's invitation.

One question concerning Maya is will she be a love interest for a character already on the map or will she strictly interact with the Qs?

Rumors surrounding the character have her as a love interest for Michael, Ethan or Johnny. I'm not sure pairing a member of the Quartermaine clan with a member of the mob is the right way to go.
And again, Tracy is not too happy that another "outsider" is going to be living in the house with the family.

Tracy is sure to be front and center for both and that makes this GHfanatic's heart pitter-patter! The more Tracy the better!

There seems to be more questions than answers surrounding the two additions to the cast, but regardless of the answers it certainly means more Quartermaines which is always a plus!

Love in the afternoon, it does exist

Love them, hate them or could care less about them JaSam and Lante are definitely proof that love in the afternoon does exist.

There is something real about these two couples. As a former JaSam fan that never wanted to see them back together after the god awful destruction of the couple. You know her sleeping with Ric, him sleeping with Liz; Jake being Jason's and Sam watching him get kidnapped in the park, him threatening to kill her if she ever did anything to Liz or the boys again - yeah all that.

But, lately I've been growing to absolutely love them again and I think part of it is because Sam brings something out in Jason. Like he said they don't try to change each other, but they also don't need to. There is a certain sparkle in Jason's eyes that didn't exist when he was with Liz or Courtney. The sparkle has been non-existent since he was with Robin all those years ago. Sam gives Jason personality and not so much brooding.

Lante on the other hand is still brand new and exciting. The way they were in the hospital on Valentine's Day was sweet, fun and light. They play well off of each other and already deeply care for one another.

I loved when they were making out hot and heavy and his heart monitor started to go off; it was hilarious.

I like how Lulu is not only concerned with Sonny being Dante's father but also how her own father is not exactly a law-abiding citizen and Dante working for the PCPD could affect that.

The two couples are keeping it as real as possible and honestly, it's refreshing. I know there are going to be obstacles for both couples, because let's face it; a happy couple normally means the kiss of death in the world of soaps.

Oh and I might add, Scrubs is another example that love in the afternoon exists; it was great to see the two of them getting it on in the supply closet like the old days. They showed that even though they're married with a child, it doesn't mean they still don't love each other and well need each other.

Thank you to the writers for giving us even a little bit of romance in this violent filled soap.

History; can be powerful ....

While I've enjoyed the flashbacks of Lucky and Elizabeth, I don't particularly enjoy seeing the aftermath of Liz's rape on a daily basis.

It's as if the writers want us to feel bad for her because she was raped when she was 15. No offense, but her being raped all those years ago have nothing to do with why she cheated on Lucky. It's almost diminishing the history between the two.

I do however enjoy seeing the other scenes the two of them shared in the past, one scene the writers may have thought to show would have been when Lucky and Liz exchanged their vows at the church on Valentine's Day before Lucky "died" in the fire. Instead we get endless mention of the rape.

I did enjoy the flashback of Lucky climbing out Liz's window and when Lucky asked Liz to be his girl, those two scenes showed the innocence and young love LL2 shared way back when.

If the writers are trying to recapture the love the young couple once shared they may not want to keep showing the rape scenes. Being raped does not excuse adultery and that's the road it seems the writers are trying to take.

If anything, being raped would not make Elizabeth willing to sleep with different men, it would make her jaded and un-trusting towards the men in her life.

After Lucky returned from "the dead" Liz tried a relationship with Jason, but it never really got started and then she ended up with Ric and then ironically had Zander's child; then she and Lucky find their way back to each other, yet she ends up having Jason's child. Again she and Lucky find their way back to each other and yet again she finds herself in the bed and arms of another man, Nikolas.

Do these sound like the actions of a woman that is still haunted by the rape she suffered through at the age of 15? They don't to me, never have and never will.

I don't understand how Elizabeth saying that she ruined her past with Lucky constitutes showing the flashbacks of the rape, the rest of their history; yes! But definitely not the rape.

The rape storyline was one of the more powerful story lines of this couple's history, but the writers are the one diminishing it by showing it now that Elizabeth has been caught cheating and lying.

Do you think the writers are over doing it? Is the rape more important to this story than what is actually happening? Do you think the writers are using the flashbacks to show Liz in a more favorable light?

Brotherly Love

Isn't it funny that when Ethan first found out he was Luke's son; he and Lucky did not get along; more because of Lucky, not Ethan, at least Ethan tried to get to know Lucky.

Now, the two formerly estranged brothers seem to be bonding on a daily basis; which is nice considering right now it seems as though neither of them have anyone else they can rely on.

Lucky's confidant used to be Nikolas, but obviously, considering the whole sleeping with his fiance thing, not anymore. Lulu is dealing with Dante being shot and finding out that Sonny is his father so who can Lucky turn to in his time of need - enter the brother he just found out he had.

I was a bit perturbed when Nikolas was telling Ethan about Lucky and Elizabeth's history and the night Elizabeth was raped; that was not his place. It was nice to see Lucky opening up to Ethan and seeing the two of them bond, even if it was over a few beers at Jake's.

I hope that when all is said and done; meaning when and if Lucky ever forgives Elizabeth and Nikolas that he doesn't forget about Ethan. They actually seem more alike than Lucky and Nik ever were.

Ethan is light and funny when he needs to be and sensitive and sincere when that's called for. I didn't really care for Ethan when he first showed up in Port Charles because they rewrote Luke and Laura's history to explain his existence, but ever since he and Lucky beat up Dante (when he was hitting on Lulu) he's been a breath of fresh air.

I am a bit nervous about Kristina's infatuation with Ethan though, remember when Maxie had her infatuation with Lucky. I would hope that the writers could come up with something a little new and fresh than rehashing all the same story lines.

What Kristina is going through with Keifer right now is a great story but unfortunately the writers are so consumed with Sonny and the rest of the mob right now; they're not spending enough time developing Kristina's main story.

Not that I condone any type of violence towards women, the writers opened a very powerful story and I truly hope they don't just move on without dealing with all the issues.

There are so many characters that should be involved in this storyline yet we haven't really seen them yet, here's to hoping the writers don't continue to focus strictly on mob story lines and actually do this story justice.

Liz is looking for someone, anyone to tell her everything is going to be okay, but unfortunately things aren't going to be alright for Elizabeth, at least not anytime soon.

Not only is she looking for Lucky to forgive her, but she's looking for anyone to help her achieve her goal.

After having a dream about being in the 1800s Elizabeth went to the Haunted Star looking for help from Luke. She actually said Luke was the only one who didn't want to "stone her" for sleeping with Nikolas. Luke humored Liz by listening to her whining and eventually told her he could help her and as if on cue, in comes Lucky.

Elizabeth then becomes extremely pathetic, as if she already wasn't being pathetic through this whole mess, begging Lucky to forgive her. The problem with Liz begging and crying every single time she hunts down or runs into Lucky is that she is not allowing him the time to heal that he needs.

Of course she can't get through to Lucky and even though Luke asks her to leave, Elizabeth shows back up at the Haunted Star the very next day looking for Luke again.

This is a part that I hate the writers are doing, Elizabeth willing had an affair with Nikolas, Elizabeth knowingly was cheating on Lucky with his brother, but for some reason, they (the writers) decide to have flashbacks of the night she was raped. I get it's Valentine's Day and all, but seriously what happened to Elizabeth that night was not in her control, she was violated in every sense of the word, but this, what she's going through now is all on her!

When she ran into Sam at Kelly's I had to laugh at the beginning, Sam had a look of "I have no idea how to handle this" and Elizabeth quickly pointed it out.

It was definitely awkward for both women, but Liz made it worse by pointing out the sins Sam had committed in the past. No offense Liz, but what Sam did in the past and whether or not people forgave her has absolutely nothing to do with what Elizabeth has done and whether or not people forgive her.

Liz, acting like she was strung out, begged for Sam to tell her how she got Jason to forgive her. When Sam finally answered, by first saying she didn't know if it pertained to what Elizabeth was going through, it wasn't the answer Liz was looking for so she gave Sam her infamous smirk and said "Good for you."

I was actually proud of Sam, because if I were her I would have slapped the smirk right off of Liz's face, but then again, Sam has actually grown up over at least the past year.

Why ask the question Liz if you really don't want to hear the answer? If that wasn't enough she went to the hospital lobbying for Patrick and Robin to help her get her suspension lifted. Ironically, Patrick and Robin were the most supportive to Liz than anyone has been since the fiasco started, but again it was attitude and smirking from the lying cheater.

I don't know how the writers are excepting the viewers to sympathize with Liz; I can't. It's not going to happen. I say this is karma for all the times she's looked down on others and thinking she was better than them.

Are any of you starting to sympathize with her yet? Have you been sympathizing with her all along? Do you think she's finally getting what she deserves?

Pleasantly surprised

I was down right shocked that Carly didn't immediately tell Sam to leave when she arrived at Jason's penthouse after her fallout with Jax. Sam has never been Carly's favorite, not after she slept with Sonny and discovered Sam was carrying his child; not too mention other than Courtney, Carly has NEVER liked any woman in Jason's life.

It was actually refreshing to see Carly acting mature towards Sam and how calm she was when she told Jason what happened between her and Jax.

I was even more surprised when Carly came back downstairs to find Josslyn in Sam's arms and was smiling the entire time.

Maybe Carly has finally accepted that Jason does love Sam and in reality, Sam is a good fit for Jason. I think Carly also knows that Sam would never ask Jason to give up his child.

It was also nice to see Carly asking Sam if she could stay with Josslyn and Morgan while she went to the hospital to talk to Sonny.

I know there are Sam haters out there that were screaming at their TV's because Sam was going to be left alone with the kids after she sat by and watched Jake being kidnapped. Maybe Carly realizes that Jason has forgiven Sam for her bad judgement. Maybe Carly understands that while it was a vile act by Sam, she was a woman scorned by the man she loved. I don't know, but regardless, it was nice to see Carly not freak out on Sam for what, the very first time?

Sam was obviously thrilled and a bit scared to be left alone with Josslyn, but it was great to see everyone smiling after all that has gone down.

Carly and Jason showed how much they truly care about their friendship today when the spoke about Jax, Michael, Sonny and Dante and for once, Carly didn't demand Jason drop everything, including Sam for her. I also didn't see any jealousy from Sam as Carly came in and said she and the kids were moving in. Maybe, just maybe, Carly and Sam will bond while Carly and the kids are living there. Or maybe as true to form one of the ladies will get jealous about the other being there. I for one would love a Carly/Sam friendship.

So which were you? Were you pleasantly surprised and happy by Carly's actions today or were screaming that Sam should never be around children?

Sonny tries, but gets shot down

I was a bit disappointed that TPTB decided not to re air Friday's final scene between Sonny and Dante, but today's scenes were just as good, just not as chilling.

Sonny was hoping everything was going to be forgiven and forgotten because the truth was out about Dante being his son. Guess again Sonny, Dante ain't having any part of it.

"There is nothing we're going to build," Dante said. "The fact that you're my father means nothing to me."

Dante made a point of calling his new-found father a "low-life gangster" on more than one occasion. Sonny tried to convince Dante they have a connection, but Dante said it makes him sick and he doesn't want anything from his dear old papa. Great line of the conversation was spoken by Dante, "I still have a badge and you're still a criminal."

Sonny was right though, there were times when Dante was being real with Sonny while he was playing the role of Dominic; but of course, Dante had a counter-point, Sonny still pulled the trigger. Does it really matter that Sonny did what he could to save Dante after he knew the truth? Isn't that a bit hypocritical?

Meanwhile, Lulu's in the hallway having it out with Olivia for covering for Sonny and wondering if it was a random mobster or a gang member would Olivia still be covering for them.

Then as if on cue, Lulu barges into Dante's room and stands up for her man. Telling Sonny she doesn't care about him being a family friend. Lulu defended her man by blasting Sonny. At least Lulu apologized to Dante for her outburst and that she can't imagine what he's going through. Seriously, how could anyone know what Dante's going through except for Dante. I mean he's the one that was shot by the man he has hated since he was child only to find out after surgery that that same man is his father.

As Lante cuddled in his hospital bed, Sonny had a slight confrontation with Olivia in the chapel.

I still can't wrap my head around Sonny telling Olivia he never would have shot Dante had he known he was his son and that Dante never would have gone after him had he known Sonny was his father.

It's hard, I feel bad for Sonny because he's reeling from the guilt of shooting his own son, but moments before he found out the truth he was showing absolutely no remorse. So where does the line get drawn?

When Sonny said, "Bless me Father for I have sinned" that was like duh moment, he has sinned for nearly his entire life, there's no shocking moment there. But hearing Sonny pour his heart out to God for what had happened, that's when I start to sympathize with Sonny. Why is it I can sympathize with a mobster that shot his own son, but not a single mother that cheated on her fiance with his brother? Guess I'm a hypocrite, just like about every single character in Port Charles.

Anger and alcohol, don't try this at home kids

What do you get when an angry, drunk cop and an angry, drunk mobster meet at Jake's? A confrontation with a gun, that's what.

Lucky, still at Jake's after his conversation with Nik, sees Liz and approaches her. At first I thought he was going to welcome her back with open arms because of how calm he was, until he asked what made her think it was a good idea and that she was humiliating herself.

I loved when Lucky made the comment that he was just "the babysitter" that was hilarious, because it's true; while Liz was pining for Nikolas or in his bed, Lucky or Audry were with Cameron and Jake. Lucky pretty much set up the "Who's the Daddy" s/l when he asked Liz if her and Nik had used protection.

As Liz went on and on about how it was a mistake and it's never going to happen again or that she talked with Luke and basically "yada yada yada, blah blah blah"; Lucky broke into another phenomenal speech about her lies and betrayal, the one line that bothered me was when Lucky held up his bottle of beer and said, "I have this, it takes the edge off just enough so I can sleep at night." I couldn't believe the gall Liz had to say that she couldn't picture her life without Lucky in it; umm, you think you should have thought about that before you started banging Lucky's brother?!?!?

After Liz finally leaves, Lucky continues to drink and throws his "cop" weight around on Coleman by asking him a bunch of questions about Niz. What made me laugh at that scene is that Coleman actually gave Lucky the information he wanted; as if Coleman would really be afraid of the PCPD with Sonny and Jason as his protection.

Meanwhile, Johnny had gone to see Olivia at the hospital and was actually happy to see her, he even brought her something to eat; which brought up a total random comment from Olivia.
"I should be watching my weight."

Anyway, so Johnny finds out that both Dante and Olivia covered for Sonny and basically figures he's a dead man.

"Are you friggin' kidding me," asked the junior mobster. Johnny knows that if the truth about Dante is out so is the truth that he knew about Dante all along. He asks Olivia if she ever gave a thought about what would happen to him when Jason and Sonny figured out he's a traitor.

So off Johnny goes, to Jakes, where guess who he runs into, yup, Lucky.

Both are drinking and both are angry. Gotta love Johnny's not-so-subtle sarcasm towards the PCPD. The line of the day, "To the PCPD, huh. Raise a glass and kiss my ass."

Unfortunately, Lucky didn't find Johnny humorous at all and the last straw was when Johnny took Lucky's beer for himself and said it was skunky. Yup, a couple more comments about the PCPD coupled with his beer being drunk by another was all it took for Lucky to hold a gun to Johnny's head. Can we say, abuse of power?

Wonder how Lucky's gonna feel about that when he finally sobers up, or will he even care?

Stay tuned folks, because angry, drunk Lucky doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon.

What's coming up in Port Chuck

Dante may have covered for Sonny regarding the shooting but don't look forward to the two having a father-son bonding moment; Dante has other plans for Sonny and tries to make Ronnie understand why he can't be the reason Sonny goes to jail; kind of like he tried to explain to Lulu. Speaking of Lulu, don't expect her to help Sonny mend fences with his first born.

Sonny is determined to make amends with his son and even tells Jason to leave Dante alone, which Jason doesn't agree with. Jason feels Dante was too close to the organization and could spell trouble for his tortured boss.

Sonny tries to explain his choices to Dante, but it seems as if the cop doesn't want to hear it. Olivia finds herself clashing with Dante, Sonny, Johnny and Ronnie. None are happy with the lies she told and Johnny and Ronnie don't understand why she's protecting Sonny for Dante's shooting.

Later in the week Mac offers Dante a job with the PCPD; will Dante make the move from NYPD? Michael doesn't want Sonny to take the fall for killing Claudia, so after confessing his sins to Kristina, Morgan and Molly; Michael finds himself telling Mac the truth of what happened that fateful night at the cabin, but Mac doesn't believe him.

What's next for the mobster in training if the police commissioner doesn't believe him, will he give up on letting the truth come out? How will Sonny, Jason and Carly react to the news that Michael confessed?

Meanwhile on the other side of Mobsterland; Johnny is determined to for revenge against Sonny for the death of Claudia. He even goes as far as visiting his psychotic father in prison to help him gain control of his family organization. Papa Z is gonna be so proud!

Lucky will continue to alienate Elizabeth, not forgiving her for her lies and betrayal. He will continue his downward spiral and nearly put a bullet in Johny's head.

Liz will have another public "meltdown" this time at Kelly's, Liason fans will see a small moment when Jason tries to comfort Liz.

Flooded with memories of the past, Liz makes her way to the church where she and Lucky exchanged their vows. Lucky finds Liz there lifeless from hypothermia. At the hospital, Dr. Lee tells Liz, Lucky and Nikolas that Liz is pregnant, the opening of the rehashed "Who's the Daddy" s/l.

Jax sees Carly in an embrace with her ex and assumes the two are reconciling. Even though Jax had told Carly he is going to fight for their marriage look for Jax to tell Carly he's through with his undying devotion to Sonny and Jason. Does this spell the end for CarJax? Will Jax go after sole custody of Josselyn?

Pot meet kettle, rather, Liz

If the writers are trying to get me to sympathize with Elizabeth during her so-called emotional breakdown; they may want to start with her NOT calling out a random mother at the hospital because her son had an accident. They also may want to scratch the whole "Who's the Daddy" storyline.

In her first episode she begs everyone to stop whispering behind her back, when in reality NO ONE was talking about her - gee, in your head much? And the second time she attacked an innocent mother for her son having an accident with a stove. I mean com'on seriously, how many of us have burnt something or ourselves on the stove - as adults never mind kids. Not too mention how many times did Liz drop her kids off at Audrey's so she could go get it on with Jason or Nikolas? Yeah, that's mother-of-the-year material right there. How about when she woke Cam and Jake up in the middle of the night so she could run off to stop Nikolas from leaving Port Charles?

Those aren't "breakdowns" IMO; they are a woman who's feeling guilty for her actions and lashing out at others so they will sympathize with her or some how it will take away from her own sins. I'm not buying it.

In the previews for next week, Liz is supposed to have yet another so-called public breakdown, this time at Kelly's where Jason will be the one to comfort her. I'm really sick of Nikolas and now apparently Jason, protecting her. She screwed up and in a big way. She deserves what she gets.

As far as the WTD s/l, why? Seriously, WHY must the writers subject us to yet another recycled story just because the actress is pregnant in real life? While I'm thrilled for Rebecca Herbst and her family, I really don't need to see it on screen - AGAIN.

This is a repeat of a couple of years ago; just change out Jason for Nikolas and here we go. Not too mention as @mobprincess2714 said on Twitter; Nikolas is falling into the same storylines as well - stealing another man's woman. First it was Emily, whom he took from Zander; then it was Courtney, who was married to Jax and now Elizabeth who was engaged to his brother.

Same old Liz and Nik and thanks to the writers; it's lather, rinse, repeat - just change a couple of characters. At least this time they didn't destroy two or more couples to have Liz end up pregnant. In reality, Liz really wasn't that invested in her relationship with Lucky this time around so did they really destroy a couple? It's not like when they destroyed Zander and Emily or Jax and Courtney, Sam and Jason, Lucky and Liz and Ric and Alexis; now those were completely, utterly demolished.

Okay, enough of my ranting. What are your thoughts? Do you sympathize with Liz? If the writers are determined to do the "Who's the Daddy" storyline, who would you rather the father be Lucky or Nik? Can Liz be redeemed?

Dante, Olivia cover for Sonny

Ever since Dante came to Port Charles it was with the intention of bringing Sonny Corinthos to justice for all of his illegal activities.

Ironically when Dante had the perfect opportunity to have Sonny put away for shooting a "cop" he told Lucky in his "official" statement that he "accidentally shot himself." The best part of the 'story' was when Lucky told Dante "Good luck getting anyone to believe you."

I did however like the reason Dante gave to Lulu for why he lied. Unfortunately, GH is now the Mob hour so regardless of anything that is said or not said, Sonny would never actually pay for his actions in a court of law. The best part is Sonny will be tortured about shooting his own son; which in a way is poetic justice.

One thing is for sure, Maurice Bernard definitely plays tortured well and does some of his finest work when he's reeling from guilt. I can not wait to see how the rest of this story unfolds for Sonny and Dante. Olivia on the other hand ....

When she told Mac and Ronnie that she had no idea how Dante was shot, it wasn't exactly a lie; she did arrive after Dante was already shot; but com'on she walks in and Sonny is standing over Dante with a gun in his hand ready to shoot again!

I don't blame Lulu for giving her an attitude about Sonny being able to skate away free for shooting her son.

Did Olivia really protect Sonny over her own son, or are we missing something that we haven't seen yet? I loved Ronnie in their sequence at the PCPD; he did phenomenal work this entire week. I really hope he doesn't just fade into the background once this story plays out.

As far as Sonny and Dante technically meeting for the first time as father and son, talk about a powerful scene!

"Hey Dad, turns out you're one hell of a shot."

I can not wait to see how this plays out next week and the weeks to come!

Lovin' Lante in the afternoon

At first I really didn't think I was going to be able to get behind a Lante pairing, actually I thought I wasn't gonna be able to get behind any Lulu pairing, but I am seriously falling in love with the two!

When Dante first woke up and called her "beautiful" I swooned! I really like how real the two have become.

Usually when a guy says he's pushing you away for your own good or that you're too good for him, it's basically a line; but with Dante, I believe he was telling the truth. He seriously was worried about Lulu. Not just because he's a cop trying to bust Sonny but because she's known for months and lied to everyone except for Lucky.

There is something real and genuine for these two and I think even though their relationship has taken off so fast, it's real, not fake.

I know there's some JoLu fans still lurking about, but I never got the attraction. I'd rather have some Lante everyday than JoLu. Thoughts?

Will Kate get the last laugh?

Remember back to Sonny and Kate's wedding and Olivia blasted Kate aka Connie for hiding her true identity? Olivia blasted her cousin for allowing the world to believe she was Kate Howard when she in fact is Connie Falconeri from Bensonherst.

The scene was humorous to say the least and was a preview of what I hope is coming in the near future.

The whole time Kate was in the hospital after being shot by Anthony, she encouraged Olivia to tell Sonny the truth about her son, Dante. Olivia refused stating Dante was better off not knowing that Sonny was his father.

Of course in true soap opera fashion Dante arrived in Port Charles, even though Olivia had pleaded with him not to, under the guise of being Dominic Porelli, mobster in waiting. In reality we all knew Dante/Dominic was an undercover cop infiltrating Sonny's organization in the hopes of taking Sonny down.

It wasn't until Maxie and Spinelli's non-wedding did Kate discover Dante was in Port Charles and why he was there.

Drunkenly, Kate warned both Olivia and Dante that this couldn't possibly end well and that Sonny needed to know the truth.

On Twitter, I asked Megan if Kate wanted to say "Told you so" to her beloved cousin. Her response:

I also asked her if we were ever going to see Kate again in Port Charles:

I for one am looking forward to seeing Kate back on the arc as this story unfolds. I just hope that Sonny doesn't blame her instead of Olivia for not telling him the truth.

But Kate letting Olivia have it for her lies would be poetic justice after what Olivia put her through the day of her wedding to Sonny.

I would welcome Kate back for this story and then some, we are definite need of the fashionista on screen.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing Kate back on screen with her cousins and former fiance? Not too mention it would be nice to see Kate in the Crimson office with Lulu and Maxie instead of just being heard about. Oh and before I forget, I would love me some KatMan!!!

Anger, denial and fear

Who's right when it comes to Sonny's actions? Lulu? Michael? Morgan? Kristina? None of them?

Although Lulu Spencer has admitted to Dante Falconeri that she is in love with him, did that give her the right to lash out at Sonny and make idle threats about going to the cops with "everything she knows" about Sonny and Jason.

Just a few weeks ago Lulu was telling Dante he was wrong for going after Sonny and that deep down Sonny is a good guy. Funny, her tune did a complete three-sixty when she realized her boyfriend had been shot by her father's long-time friend. Her anger may be justified, but being a hypocrite certainly isn't.

Last week she was calling out Elizabeth and Nikolas for their lies and betrayal while all along she had been lying to protect Dante, even though she claimed she didn't believe Sonny belonged in prison. Thankfully, Dante is going to pull through the surgery and Lulu won't have to worry about deciding whether or not she should tell the cops all she knows. If not, poor Lulu might just end up in an insane asylum again.

Prior to arriving at General Hospital, Lulu had stopped by Carly and Jax's house questioning Jason on what happened to Dominic. Lulu spilled the beans about Dominic being an undercover cop, which caught Carly, Morgan, Molly and Kristina off guard.

While Michael defended Sonny for his actions, I know shocking right; Kristina claimed that is the reason "I hate our father." Kristina said her father deserved to go to prison for life as Michael tried to change her mind.

Morgan on the other hand agreed with Kristina and felt bad for his friend, Dominic. Morgan then questioned whether or not his friendship with Dominic had been a lie and simply part of Dominic's cover.
For once, Jax actually made sense as he told Morgan that Dominic couldn't fake the things he had said or done and that he was a true friend. I actually felt bad for Morgan. It was as if he had taken off the rose-colored glasses he had been wearing for his father all his life.

When Carly was talking about gun shot wounds, I swear I thought she was going to tell Morgan about the time Sonny shot her in the head while she was giving birth to her youngest son. That truly would have been a WTF moment and I thank the writers for not going there.

Michael, fed up with trying to defend his father, went to the hospital where he first found Jason and of course, for some ungodly reason, Jason was the one to tell Michael that Sonny refused to leave the country because Dominic who's really Dante is Sonny's son.

I thought the kid's heart was going to jump right out of his chest. Michael just stood there staring at Jason, did he inherit the blink and stare from "Stone Cold." Sonny arrived in time to hug his adopted son and get arrested.

What comes next should be interesting - I truly hope the writers have Michael deal with the jealousy he obviously has for Dante. Not only did he think he would be rid of Dante forever, but I highly doubt in a million years that he's going to be okay with the fact that Dante is Sonny's flesh and blood. Dante is Sonny's first born son whereas Michael isn't even Sonny's biological son, he was adopted. There are so many different ways this story can unfold, hopefully the writers don't deprive the audience of what they and the story deserve.

When the shock wears off

Today's GH was a bit of a let down for me in terms of the Sonny/Olivia/Dante storyline.

While I enjoyed the show, I was a little disappointed with Sonny's reaction to finding out that Dominic was in fact Dante his son.

I was expecting him to have a ton of emotions running through him, yet we barely saw anything.

I know he's probably in shock about finding out that he shot his own son, I still wanted to see more. I wanted to see tears at the realization that he shot his own blood. I wanted to see anger at Olivia for never telling him the truth. Instead we saw Sonny as calm and collected. That is not how Sonny normally deals with these situations.

I hope TPTB have more in store for us in terms of Sonny's reaction. I for one find Maurice Bernard to be at his best when he's tortured and shooting his own son has got to make Sonny tortured.

I'm also looking forward to how the punk Michael reacts to the news that he has an older brother. Michael has been jealous of Dante since he started working for Sonny as Dominic. Michael has called him an "outsider" and made it clear that he, himself wants to follow in Sonny's footsteps. Not too mention it really has to hurt Michael to find out the one he has been calling an "outsider" is really Sonny's flesh and blood, unlike himself.

I really hope TPTB don't just make Michael and Dante best buddies all of a sudden. I expect Morgan to embrace his new-found older brother, but definitely not Michael.

This storyline has so much potential, I really hope TPTB don't blow it by just fluffing it over and forgetting about key factors in the storyline. Either way, I can't see how it all unfolds!

Laughter in youth

Through all the darkness of Sonny shooting the son he never knew came the light in form of Molly Lansing!

Once again the youngster stole the show as she described Jason as a "romantic character." Morgan Corinthos was quick to interject that is in fact a man not a character.

Molly trying as hard as she could, worked on getting Sam and Jason to agree to marry each other. The look on JaSam's faces were priceless. Not only could you see the love the two of them share for each other, but also that they were at least a little bit amused by the youngster's antics.

I not only enjoyed the scenes between the four of them but also when Molly told Carly that Sam and Jason "intend on staying star-crossed." That little girl can steal a scene anytime in my book.

Molly is a true romantic even for a little girl and I for one love that she recognizes the love between JaSam and that her mother, Alexis, is in desperate need of a love life that doesn't include sociopaths.

Whether JaSam gets married or not, I'm sure we'll see more of Molly's influence with the couple down the road - remember when she asked to speak to Jason alone to find out his intentions for her sister. Those scenes was priceless!

Thy betrayer; thy son

For once, the events leading up to the moment of truth so to speak were not more thrilling than the confrontation itself.

As everyone was getting ready for Joselyn's Christening; Sonny called Dominic/Dante for a last minute "job" he needed done.

As Dominic/Dante arrived at Sonny's house to find no guards, he knew something was up and the conversation he had with "the boss" led him to saying he'd be dead by the end of the night.

Dominic/Dante had figured out that Sonny knew something was up and decided, why wait for the Christening to be over, he would pull put his badge and do what he came to Port Charles to do -- arrest Sonny.

Unfortunately, Sonny had other plans and he took out his gun and pointed it at Dominic/Dante as he stared at him with stone cold eyes.
I give both Maurice Bernard and Dominic Zamprogna props for their acting in their scenes. Sonny was as cold as a mobster could be and Dominic/Dante was calm and collected despite having a gun pointed at his chest.

Sonny somewhat "laughed" at the detective as Dominic/Dante tried to read him his rights; Sonny wasn't having any of it and basically told the undercover cop that his body would never be found. No offense to Sonny, but shooting Dominic/Dante in his living room didn't really make much sense, but I digress.

When Sonny asked him if he had any last words, Dominic/Dante told his story about Lt. Perretti (sp) and Sonny was unmoved or unphased even going as far as to say "he deserved probably it."

Telling Sonny to pray for his children so they never had to see him like this was one of the best foreshadowing, intentional or not, I've seen on this show for a long time. As Sonny pulled the trigger he sort of looked away; maybe that's because Sonny had told Dominic/Dante that he "had liked him and in some way he still did."

Like him or not, Sonny put a bullet into Dominic/Dante's chest! The look on Sonny's face as he stood over Dominic/Dante's body was almost of sincerity, like he wished it didn't have to go as far as it had.

Just as Sonny was poised to take another shot to ensure that Dominic/Dante was finished; Olivia came screaming into the room first for her fallen son Dante and then, she looked with pure fear and terror in her eyes as she told Sonny, "You just shot your own son!"

We all know that Dante is going to live and thankfully he can stick to one name now or at least I hope he sticks to one name.

But in the aftermath of the shooting look for many lives to change, first and foremost the lives of Sonny, Dante and Olivia. The three of them will have to deal with the consequences of Olivia's choice to keep the truth from the two men. Who will forgive who? Will Dante now finally be pulled off the Corinthos case or will he testify against his own father in court when Sonny is arrested for Claudia's murder?

Lulu will have to answer to a few people as well. She has known for a long time that Dominic was really Dante and what his mission in Port Charles was. Will Carly forgive Josselyn's godmother for not warning her? Lulu also lashes out at Sonny for shooting Dante, leading us to believe that she is in fact truly in love with Dante. Can the two young lovers overcome what has transpired?

Carly will not only have to deal with finding out her cousin lied to her, but also her only female friend, Olivia; and of course her husband, Jax. Is this truly the end of CarJax? Will Carly ever forgive her husband for yet another lie and his part in the cover-up?

One thing for sure, this weeks GH is shaping up to be another phenomenal treat for the viewers. We have the truth about Dante, Liz unraveling and so much more on the horizon.

Who do you think, if anyone, is justified in their actions? With the possible ending of CarJax looming and Olivia's betrayal - does this open the door for yet another CarSon reunion?

Olivia finally reveals her secret , but at what cost?

For months Olivia has been trying to keep her son Dante's true identity and parentage a secret.

The problem is - in Port Charles nothing stays a secret for very long.

One by one people across the town have figured out that not only is Dominic Perelli actually Dante Falconeri, Olivia's son, but that he's an undercover cop and Sonny's first born.

Jax, Johnny, Lulu, Lucky and Mac all know the turth and now, thanks to Olivia herself, even Agent Raynor of the FBI knows that Dante is really Sonny's child.

Jason, Sonny and Spinelli find out this week that Dominic is really an undercover cop, but not that he is Olivia and Sonny's offspring.

When Olivia went to the PCPD to beg Agent Raynor to have Dante pulled off the case, she blurted out the reason was a "conflict of interest" because he was in fact Sonny's child.

While Olivia has been hiding the news from Dante, she told Johnny what she had done and he did not react all that well. Johnny automatically jumped to the conclusion that Olivia tried to have Dante pulled off the case to save Sonny, not Dante.

So here's where it gets sticky, yes Olivia has admitted to still having feelings for Olivia and yes she has been trying desperately to save Dante from Sonny, as well as himself; but is she truly trying to protect him - or Sonny?

The confrontation, that takes place while Josselyn is being Christened, leads to Sonny shooting Dante for his betrayal and Olivia letting Sonny know that he shot his own son.

What should have Olivia done? In my humble opinion, Olivia should have told Dante when he arrived in Port Charles that Sonny was his father. That way Dante would have had the opportunity to make his own decision as to whether or not he wanted to stay on the case and try and take Sonny down.

Now, instead of protecting her son, Olivia inadvertently gets him shot, by his own father. Unfortunately, Olivia, Dante and Sonny are not the only three that are going to get hurt from her keeping the truth as long as she has.

Carly, Jax, Michael, Morgan, Josselyn, Lulu, Johnny and Kristina are all going to have to face the consequences of Olivia's actions.

Who forgives who? Who feels the most betrayed? Will Sonny forgive Olivia and Dante and form a new relationship with the son he never knew he had? How jealous will Michael be when he realizes the man he thought was an outsider is really Sonny's son? Will Michael accept his new found brother or try to destroy him? Will Michael feel even more betrayed because Dante is blood, while Michael was adopted by Sonny?

Will Carly be able to forgive Jax, Olivia or Lulu for their parts in the lies and cover-up? Will she walk away from Jax for good this time? Will she allow Lulu to be a part of Josselyn's life after finding out she knew all along?

Will Morgan forgive Jax or Dante for lying to him? Will Morgan be able to accept Dante as his brother or turn into a spoiled brat like Michael?

Will Kristina ever be able to forgive Sonny for shooting her brother?

It's going to be interesting to see how the next chapter of this story unfolds. Who do you think stands to lose the most? Feel the most betrayed? Have to pay for their part? Which couples will be torn apart and which will it bring closer more than ever?

One thing is certain to happen - a lot of people's lives will be changed forever.

Liz got exactly what she deserves!

First a disclaimer, I have not liked the character of Elizabeth Webber since she first made her way to Port Charles in 1997, but in Monday's episode I saw Rebecca Herbst hit her scenes out of the park. She was absolutely phenomenal. I truly believe that Becky, Jonathan Jackson and Tyler Christopher did a tremendous job in their sequences and it was the first time I have ever seen that much emotion from Becky. Kudos Becky, you were amazing. With that said:

Elizabeth finally got what she deserved when Lucky unleashed his wrath on her and Nikolas for their betrayal.

Nikolas did not rape, drug or tie up Elizabeth - she chose to sleep with her fiance's brother. She went to Wyndemere the night Jake was hurt at the Carnival; the same night Lucky proposed to her. That was the first time the two slept together and it definitely wasn't the last time either.

Elizabeth kept telling Nikolas to stay away for her, that what they did and continued to do was wrong, that she loved Lucky and wanted to marry him; but she was the one that kept going to Nikolas not the other way around - gee, I seem to remember that happening with Jason as well.

Elizabeth is not a saint, in fact she has sinned as much as every other character in Port Charles, but somehow, someway she is usually vindicated by others actions.

For example, Lucky was strung out on drugs and sleeping with Maxie when she walked up an umpteen number of stairs to Jason's PH, but only Lucky was crucified even though Elizabeth cheated as well. But it was all Lucky's fault, Liz had no blame in her own actions.

Liz then lied about Jason being Jake's father but again her actions were justified, by the writers and some/most fans, because Lucky was recovering and she didn't want him to relapse.

There's an outrage on several message boards and Twitter that Liz is the victim and Guza hates women for this storyline, but come on, seriously every single soap character is a hypocrite at one point or another and if you're a Liz fan and hate Carly, Sam or Maxie you are going to say that they're hypocrites and Liz does not deserve the things Lucky and Lulu said to her; but on the other hand if you're a Carly, Sam or Maxie fan - you've been waiting for this to come for a very long time.

As Carly said, "That selfless, shining angel doesn't get to look down her halo at the rest of us anymore. She has lost her wings and she is in a free-fall."

But don't fret Elizabeth fans, everyone has to fall before they can rise again. I'm sure it won't be long before all is forgotten and Elizabeth will be standing on the sidelines, polishing up her halo and judging everyone else for their mistakes and bad decisions.

For now, I for one am enjoying everything that Elizabeth is going through, it's about time she actually feels guilty and shows remorse for her own decisions and actions.

JJ had finally reclaimed the role he made famous

Wow, I mean WOW!

If I weren't a Jonathan Jackson fan before, Monday's episode of GH would have won me over!

Since his return, all of Lucky's dialog and scenes were pretty much fluff but not Jan. 25; the dialogue and Jonathan's delivery was some of the best GH has scene in months!

The passion in JJ when Lucky was lashing out at Elizabeth and Nikolas for their betrayal was simply amazing! He went through a plethora of emotions that made me feel as if this could have been real, not just a scene in a soap opera. I smell an Emmy!!

More importantly, I saw real emotion from Rebecca Herbst, something I have never seen in the 11-years she's been portraying Elizabeth!

My one wish is that the end of his rampage didn't include Lucky bringing up Liz's rape again. TPTB seem to bringing that up a lot lately. Maybe it's to try and get new viewers a history lesson, maybe it's to give the LL2 fans a taste of the past, whatever it is - it needs to STOP!

For what it's worth if JJ doesn't send that reel in for an Emmy nomination - shame on him and more importantly if they don't accept it and he doesn't get a nomination for it - shame on them!

Welcome back Jonathan, you are officially Lucky again!!

JaSam lighten the mood; share an intimate talk

One of the lighter moment's of Monday's GH was when Jason and Sam arrived at his Penthouse to find it's been completely redecorated!

The look on Jason's face was priceless when he saw how much his home had changed.

He asked Sam if she knew anything about it, which she didn't but then remembered that Maxie had expressed her interest in changing "Stone Cold's" pad.

After Sam states that Maxie and Spinelli probably wanted to do something nice for Jason after the debacle that was Franco; Jason said Maxie and Spinelli suffered more than he had, as well as Sam.

Jason then told Sam "It scares the hell out of me to think about what could have happened to you" and later he adds; "I just don't like feeling helpless and that's exactly how I felt when I couldn't find you"- Can you feel the JaSam love?!?!?! I certainly can!!!

All that was missing from that scene was a tender kiss between the two!!

Lucky finds out the truth but doesn't confront Niz

Last Friday, Lucky went to say goodbye to his half-brother Nikolas after Lulu told him he was leaving Port Charles and moving to France.

When Lucky arrived at Wyndamere, Alfred told him Nikolas was taking in the "view" one last time; Lucky had no idea what type of view he was in store for as he made his way up to the top of the castle.

Liz had already arrived and she and Nik were already halfway de-clothed and going at it when Lucky heard Nik told Elizabeth that he loved her. Much to Lucky's surprise Liz told Nik she loved him as well.

On Monday's episode; Lucky opens the door a little bit more to get a better view and sees his fiance in the arms of his brother about to get busy. Instead of confronting the two, Lucky simply leaves.

Lucky arrives back at the Spencer home and quickly finds a bat in the closet - he literally goes postal destroying the living room on the first floor and begins to speak to Luke about being right that love is for the weak. Now Luke wasn't actually there, but Lucky made it clear that he now believed every word that Luke told him about being delusional about love.

As Lucky destroyed his family home, Niz were basking in their afterglow of lovemaking and discussing how they wished things could be different. Nik told Liz he hoped she would be happy with Lucky and Liz told Nik that when he gets to Paris he needs to live his life and not sit in his house wishing he were with her. They said their goodbyes and Liz left to go see Lucky (without
even showering his brother's sweat off her).

When she arrived at the house, Liz asked about the mess and Lucky said it was like that when he got home; Liz wanted to clean up but Lucky told her to leave it because it was going to "stay that way until I figure out what to do."

If that wasn't a foreshadowing statement, I am as clueless as Guza thinks all fans are.

Liz went to the hospital to ask her brother to give her the weekend off so she could go away with Lucky as Lucky spoke to Laura on the phone; while cleaning and loading his gun!!!

Lucky then showed up at the airport and told Nikolas that they are still brothers and he wants him to stay.

I'm truly hoping that Lucky doesn't use the gun on Niz for the simple reason - I don't want them
painted as the victims!!!

Niz have not only betrayed Lucky, but they have betrayed their friends and family as well! They should not get off scott free! They truly need to pay for their betrayal and I pray they do without being perceived as the victims.

What's coming next is anyone's guess, but I can say this with certainty, I wouldn't want to be Niz at this point because it's clear that Lucky is out for revenge!

Is Kristina's anger justified?

When Kristina showed up at Sonny's office for some father/daughter alone time, she immediately showed anger towards her absentee father because Sam was kidnapped.

The question is, is her anger justified?

Yes, Jason is a hit man because he works for Sonny, but Sam is the one that chose to get back together with Jason and she knew the risks involved. Isn't Sam partly to blame for having the demented artist take her prisoner?

I'm not saying that Sonny is completely innocent, but Sam knew exactly what she was getting herself into the minute she started spending time with Jason again. I mean she was shot in the back while she was in Jason's arms; which resulted in their break-up, her trying to get back at Alexis and Jason by sleeping with Ric, Jason sleeping with Liz and then the whole downward spiral of three couples as a result.

But I digress; Kristina has had a lot of resentment towards her father for awhile now. First she was angry because he spends more time with Michael and Morgan than he did with her, although that's Alexis' fault; then she was angry with him for "scaring" the manager at the Country Club because of Keifer; then she saw him for who he truly was the night of Claudia's surprise party - which we all know resulted in Claudia's death and now she's upset with him because Sam is missing.

While all of these are real good reasons for being angry with her father; what bothers me is that Alexis didn't try to defend Sonny about the Sam situation and why didn't Kristina ask more questions about Franco and the reason he's in Port Charles before immediately throwing a fit?

Why is it Sonny's fault that Jason has his own enemy? It's not like Franco is a member of a rival mob family - he's a demented artist that kills people just because he feels like it. Believe you me, I am not defending Sonny completely, but is he truly to blame for Franco coming into their lives and kidnapping Sam?

I have to wonder how she's going to feel about her father when the truth comes out about her relationship with Keifer and him being physical with her. Will she turn to her dad for support and "muscle" or will she blame him for not being a part of her life to teach her that when a man hits her - it's really not okay?

Regardless of which direction Kristina and Sonny's relationship heads, it's only going to get even more interesting.

The game takes an unexpected turn

Franco got his wish when Jason finally opened up about his life as a hit man, unfortunately the words spoken by his idol were not what the demented artist wanted to hear.

Jason spoke briefly about the car accident that left him brain damaged and how Sonny was the only one to accept him for who he was at that moment and not the boy formally known as Jason Quartermaine.

Franco was not happy to learn that Jason didn't embrace what it means to be a killer and told his 'boy toy' he should have "died in the accident."

Jason finally had enough of Franco's twisted game and told him he was going to snap his neck. Jason ultimately decided knowing where Sam and Lulu were being held was more important than killing Franco.

Knowing there was no time to spare, as Franco said, the ladies had just minutes to live before the bombs went off; Jason called Dominic to give him Lulu's location as he set out to save Sam.

One of the most chilling points of the episode was the ending montage, after Franco spoke directly into a camera; featuring Sam, Jason, Dominic and Lulu.

Jason and Dominic drove frantically in their cars trying to get to their lady loves in time. Lulu screamed, cried and struggled to get her hands free as Sam, more composed, tried to find a way to get out of glass house Franco put her in. The music, the four main players and the time ticking off the detonators was a brilliant way to air the final sequence.

The part that hit me the most was when Jason ran into the room and Sam looked at him as if to say, "I knew you would find me, but this time you may actually be too late." The look was priceless and was totally in character.

In reality all the previews and spoilers have already told us that all four make it out alive, but seeing the clock wind down and the episode ending was one of the better "cliffhanger" Friday's we've seen in a long time.

What's next for Michael?

Today's scenes with Micheal and Carly were great.

First we got to see the young man snap at his mother for trying to protect him and then blamed Jason for the whole thing (why does that sound so familiar?). Carly had heard enough when her first born bad mouthed her best friend.

I was impressed when Carly called him a punk because that is exactly what he has been acting like for months now.

The best part of that exchange was that Carly was still trying to be a supportive, caring mother while explaining that Jason is trying to protect, not hurt him.

Michael then took a stab at self-pity by trying to say he wasn't worth anyone's protection and that he didn't want to be a burden to anyone - like Carly would ever let him believe that!

Michael then finally admitted, after Carly told him for the millionth time that killing Claudia was an accident and not a right of passage into Sonny's world, that he was having nightmares about killing his evil step-mom.

It was great to hear Michael show that type of emotion instead of acting like he's a cold-hearted killer. Maybe Michael can start to heal and become a normal teenager, not that ever really happens in Port Charles.

The question is, during the last sequence, Michael was holding his phone and Lucky's number; will he call Lucky and confess or will Sonny arrive in time again to talk him out of it? My money's on the latter. No way will Sonny allow Michael to tell what really happened - no matter how much his son is suffering.

The second question is - is Sonny being a good father by covering up what really happened to Claudia? Carly at least has been going back and forth with wanting the truth to come out. She truly is conflicted, but what's Sonny's excuse?

Liz: Victim or Hypocrite?

When exactly does a so-called victim become a full-fledged hypocrite? How long do the lies have to continue before the transformation? How many people have to get hurt before admitting it's all their own fault?

Those are the questions Elizabeth Webber should be asking herself. In today's episode, she had the perfect opportunity to come clean with Lucky about her affair with Nikolas, but inside she decided to keep her mouth shut.

When Lucky said he had heard the conversation the adulterers were having at the hospital, I thought for sure she wouldn't be able to take the guilt and fess up. Unfortunately, Liz decided it was more important to save herself than to admit what she had done.

Not only did she continue to lie to Lucky, but then she went to see Nikolas to tell him to keep her lie. Nikolas is professing his love for her and all she can do is ask him to keep lying to Lucky.

I get that she thinks she wants a life with Lucky, but in reality, I don't think Liz really knows what she wants. Even when she was confronting Nikolas, she never once told him she didn't love him or that she was wrong, just that "I'm not going to blow apart my life for anyone and I'm going to lie until the day I die to preserve our relationship." She doesn't even realize she's doing that all on her own and it's literally all her fault.

Liz put herself in this situation when she went to Nik the night Lucky proposed and slept with Nik for the first time. It would be a totally different story had she not accepted Lucky's marriage proposal a few hours later. Maybe if she had been honest with Lucky from the beginning about loving him, but not being IN love with him none of this would be happening.

We all know eventually the lies and secrets are going to come out, but which of the players will be hurt the most. I have a feeling it won't be Liz. As usual, she won't be the one that has to pay for her actions; at least not for long - she never does. Maybe, just maybe this time Liz will be called out for what she is - a lying, hypocritical, two-timing bitch.

Any bets on which one of the women of Port Charles will be the first to call her out on it when the truth finally comes out? Sam? Carly? Maxie? Lulu? Robin?

Personally, I'd like for it to be Lulu or Robin, then for once the haters can't throw anything Sam, Carly or Maxie has done in the past. Just a thought.
